➡️ This is a tunnel along Highway 71, a key route connecting Bandar Abbas directly to Tehran via Yazd.

It's nicknamed "the Bottleneck" (گلوگاه), and is well deserved.

➡️ The surrounding topography leaves no practical bypass route between central Iran and Bandar Abbas within a corridor more than 100 kilometers wide. Any alternative route would require a major detour, resulting in significantly higher transportation and fuel costs.

📝 If this disruption is sustained at this location, the economic and logistical impact will only continue to accumulate.
