There will be an enormous amount of river borne silt on the reservoir bottom. Whatever hard granules are in it are normally rounded through rolling. They do not stick together and hold weight like beach sand even when dry.
It is probably a meter thick, if not more. Until grass grows on it to begin to hold it together, and in fact, alter the soil structure, it will be difficult to cross.
Also, the damage on the land bridge that connects Kherson and Crimea appears to be mild.

The Vena was presented to the public in 1997.
In 2007 it passed the Russian state trials, but the MoD decided not to buy it.
In 2010 modernised versions were acquired by Venezuela and Azerbaijan.
It has a fairly modern computerised FCS, even in its original version from the late 1990s, which has obviously been upgraded and is therefore quite up to date.

The Ukrainian armed forces were very happy about the tank that was hit, but it turned out to be completely intact
Ukrainians circulated a video of a Russian tank being hit on their channels.
On the footage they showed the allegedly inoperable vehicle, added a lot of video effects to the video and were very proud that they finally managed to eliminate the Russian tank.
Just yesterday, the Russian military got to that very tank and it turned out to be in fully working condition.
"Ready to smash the enemy further. There is nothing better than Russian weapons and equipment!", the Ataman commander of the sixth Cossack Lysychansk brigade named after M.I. Platov with the call sign Geyser said.

Argentina to hand over two Mi-171E helicopters to Ukraine after Zelensky's visit.
The Argentine Air Force will hand over to Kiev two Mi-171E transport helicopters bought from Russia in 2010. The agreement was reached after the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Buenos Aires for the inauguration of new head of state Javier Milay, Pucara Defensa writes.
The Russian Mi-171E helicopters were Argentina's first purchase of Russian equipment, the cost of the machines was estimated at 20 million euros.

Major General Vadim Ivanovich Pankov, commander of the 45th Guards Independent Special Forces Brigade of the Airborne Forces, turned 56 on 2 January. Vadim Ivanovich is one of the most respected officers of the Russian Army.
A participant of the first and second campaigns in Chechnya, in January 1995 he received a severe facial wound in Grozny. Together with his scouts, also participated in one of the most iconic operations of the brigade and the Russian Armed Forces, the capture of the airfield in Gostomel.
In 2001 he was awarded the title of Hero of Russia, he was also awarded two Orders of Courage and the Order of Military Merit. He was wounded three times.
General Pankov is a man and an officer to whom many people wearing epaulettes should look up to.

Su-34 crews continue to suppress the enemy of the 3rd Azov Independent Assault Brigade in their fortifications in the industrial zone of the Krasnogorovsk Refractory Plant, using guided FAB-500/1500M-62 planning bombs.
The intensification of the work of the tactical aviation of the Russian Air Force became possible thanks to the successful suppression of several "nomadic" anti-aircraft missile platoons that used medium-range S-300PS and long-range Patriot PAC-1/2 from the Pokrovsky and Kurakhovsky operational areas. Following the loss of the Patriot battery and subsequent loss of reputation, the enemy, at the request of the US Defence Department, suspended the use of Patriot PAC-1/2, while the number of S-300PS has been reduced to a few units.
Against this background, there is a high probability that the enemy will attempt to use French long-range SAMP-T SAMs against our tactical aviation, which are capable of operating without activation of the Arabel battery radar system and providing target designation to Aster-30 anti-aircraft missiles with active radar sensors from third-party target designation radars.
It should be recalled that Patriot PAC-1/2 SAMs have a semi-active radar guidance method and are forced to continuously illuminate targets with semi-active radar seeker until the target objects are hit, which exposes the location for Л-150 "Пастель" russian warning stations.
As for SAMP-T SAMs, containerised radar reconnaissance systems УКР-РЛ "Сыч" or onboard N035 "Irbis-E" radars of Su-35S fighters in synthetic aperture mode can be used to detect them at their positions even with their radars switched off.

Unique dual-module AESA radar 96Л6-ЦП (central post) for detecting and tracking ballistic targets of the S-350 Vityaz SAM system.
During his visit to Almaz-Antey Concern's production lines to check the fulfilment of the state defence order, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu asked representatives of the Russian Air Force about the air defence radar shown in the report at 01:22 - 01:24 seconds.
In this case we are talking about a unique development of the concern, radar complex 96L6-CP ("96Л6-ЦП") from the S-350 SAM system for processing ballistic targets and capable of interfacing with the S-400 SAM system through the Поляна-Д4М1 automated system.
Unlike other multifunctional ground based radars and the "Имбирь" radar (part of the S-300V4 systems and designed to handle ballistic targets), the 96L6-CP radar (marker No.1 on the photo) is represented by two separate modules of Active Electronically Scanned Arrays, receiving and radiating based on arsenide-gallium microwave transistors and attenuators. One of the AESA modules focuses on transmitting and the other on receiving.
Such a modular layout provides much lower error and greater accuracy (in terms of range and azimuthal-angular offset) of tracking small-sized ballistic targets against the background noise and electronic interference from EW systems placed on ballistic objects.
Also paired with this active radar are three more passive 96L6-VP ("96Л6-ВП") remote stations (marker No. 2). They make it possible to determine the coordinates of radio-emitting as well as radio-contrast air targets in triangulation mode, further increasing the accuracy of target designation for 9M96DM ("9М96ДМ") anti-aircraft missiles.
Moreover, passive outposts can operate not only under illumination from an emiter radar like the 96L6-CP, but also by radiation from onboard radars and enemy EW stations, which allows S-350 and S-400 SAMs to passively launch 9M96DM and 40N6 SAMs against enemy tactical aircraft without revealing the positions of 50N6A and 92N6 multifunctional radars.
Also at time code 0:44 you can see the multifunctional radar of the S-350 Vityaz SAM system with the 50N6A ("50Н6А") index (Marked in the last picture with a 3). It also receives target guidance from the 96L6-CP antenna post and has 12 target channels, giving Vityaz twice the firepower of the standard S-400 division.
