Hello guys ! 🌎
Our topic is β€” Water πŸ’§

Water is one of the most important natural resources on Earth. 🌍 Without water, life cannot exist. About 70% of our planet is covered with water, but only around 2.5% of it is fresh water that people can use. 🚰 Most of the fresh water is locked in ice and glaciers, so the amount available for drinking and daily needs is very small.

We use water every day β€” for drinking, cooking, cleaning, washing, farming, and industry. 🚿🍳🌾 But many people in the world still do not have access to clean and safe water. This is why saving water and using it wisely is very important. πŸŒ±πŸ’™

Water connects us all, and by protecting it, we also protect our future. ✨

🌍 For my Global Citizenship class, I joined the 1-week Water Challenge. I tracked how much water my family used and noticed which things take the most water. It was surprising to see how small habits can waste a lot! This challenge made me think more about how I use water every day. Here’s my short reflection and the steps I want to take to save more water πŸ‘‡

πŸŒŠπŸ’§ This week my family of six joined the Water Challenge! We filled out the questionnaire and tracked our daily water habits for 7 days. Honestly, I was surprised at how much water we actually use β€” around 250–300 liters per day. 🚿🚽 The biggest part came from showers and toilet flushing, while cooking and cleaning used less but still added up. 🍳🧼

Some habits we already had πŸ‘: turning off the tap while brushing teeth 🦷🚰 and using the washing machine only when full πŸ‘•. But other ideas, like taking shorter showers ⏳🚿 and reusing water for cleaning πŸͺ£, were new for us. It wasn’t always easy to change routines, but step by step we saw small improvements. ✨

The hardest part was reminding every family member to stay consistent πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦. Still, this challenge showed us that even small changes can make a big difference. From now on, we’re committed to more sustainable water use! πŸŒπŸ’™

2️⃣ Take shorter showers 🚿
3️⃣ Reuse water for cleaning πŸͺ£
4️⃣ Remind my family every day πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦
5️⃣ Use the washing machine only when full πŸ‘•
6️⃣ Collect rainwater for plants 🌱

Water is very important for our life. But today, water is also a big global problem. Many people in the world don’t have clean water 🚱, and we waste a lot of it in daily life 🚿🚰.

The good news is that small changes can help 🌱. If we turn off the tap, take shorter showers, and use water carefully, we can save a lot.

Here are some easy steps to save water πŸ‘‡

🌍 Hello everyone! ✨
Today we will talk shortly about two important goals β€” SDG 7 (Clean Energy) ⚑ and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) πŸ’ΌπŸ“ˆ

Clean energy means using power from the sun β˜€οΈ, wind πŸ’¨, and water πŸ’§ instead of oil or gas. It helps protect our planet and reduce pollution πŸŒ±πŸ’š. In Uzbekistan πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Ώ, new solar and wind stations are being built to make our future greener and brighter 🌞🌿.

SDG 8 is about giving people good jobs, fair pay, and safe working places πŸ‘©β€πŸ’ΌπŸ‘¨β€πŸ”§. When clean energy projects grow, they also create new job opportunities for young people πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“πŸ’ͺ β€” this helps our economy become stronger and more sustainable. πŸ“ˆπŸŒ

Together, these two goals build a better and cleaner future for everyone! πŸ’šβœ¨

Collect & Observe

1️⃣ At home 🏠 and on campus πŸŽ“, I observed how we use energy. We use electricity for lights πŸ’‘, computers πŸ’», and cooking 🍳.

2️⃣ I talked with my family πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§ about saving energy. They said turning off lights when not needed and using energy-saving bulbs helps a lot πŸ”‹.

3️⃣ I found a fact πŸ“Š: In Uzbekistan, more than 90% of electricity comes from natural gas, but the country is now building solar and wind power plants to increase clean energy use πŸŒžπŸ’¨.

I chose a visual πŸŒ… showing solar panels in Uzbekistan that produce clean and renewable energy. It shows how the country is moving toward a greener future 🌱.

This week I learned many new things about Affordable and Clean Energy (SDG 7) and Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8). I discovered that Uzbekistan is building new solar and wind power stations to make our energy cleaner and reduce pollution. πŸŒžπŸ’¨ In my daily life, I use energy for lights, phone charging, and studying. πŸ“šπŸ’‘ Turning off lights and unplugging devices is easy for me, but avoiding long use of my phone is a bit difficult. πŸ˜…

I think decent work is very important for young people because it gives us stability, respect, and a chance to grow. πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’Ό To get good jobs, we need skills like communication, creativity, and teamwork. 🀝 I hope Uzbekistan will have more jobs in green energy and technology in the future. βš™οΈπŸŒ±

Personally, I feel more connected to SDG 8 because I want to have a meaningful job and help my country’s economy grow. πŸ’ͺ

For a sustainable future, I will:
🌍 Use energy wisely at home and university.
🌞 Support renewable energy ideas.
πŸ“š Improve my skills for a better job.
πŸ’¬ Talk to others about saving energy.
🀝 Work hard to make a positive change in my community.

πŸ“ŒReflection Task 5: Innovation for Uzbekistan’s Future
πŸ‘2
⚑ Powering Uzbekistan’s Future ⚑

In many rural parts of Uzbekistan, people still struggle with limited access to stable electricity. This challenge affects everyday life β€” from students studying at night to doctors using medical equipment and farmers running their tools. πŸ’‘

My proposed project, β€œSolar Villages,” aims to bring affordable solar panels and small wind turbines to local communities. The system would include shared battery storage to keep the lights on even during cloudy or windless days. β˜€οΈπŸ’¨

This innovation would cut reliance on fossil fuels, create new eco-friendly jobs, and raise the quality of life in remote regions. By harnessing our abundant sunlight and wind, we can shape a cleaner and more sustainable future for Uzbekistan. 🌿
