看完纽约时报的年度图片，如果我要给我的2020来一个总结的话，便是：2020，身在其中。
这个总结有两个意思：
1.我们身在其中，经历了疫情，各种故事
2.“不识庐山真面目，只缘身在此山中”，我们经历了，但我们确无法感受到2020年，会是被历史永远铭记的一年。
对了，我觉得有趣的是，疫情并没有让很多人停下来思考关于生活，亲友，而且让更多的人去更加努力工作来弥补疫情带来的损失。
这个也是我8月底会离职的原因之一，我想跳出拥有工作的视角，来审视下2020年，这场疫情给我们带来了什么。
离职，虽然没有什么特别的发现，但我更能看到身边离职状态的朋友确实非常多。

周末在看《漫勉》，这个可以说是我最近看得最起劲的纪录片了。
漫勉是记录每一个漫画家的创作过程，摄像头就像上帝一样，从高纬度来看一个漫画家，我们自己有时候也需要上帝视角。
漫勉让我确定了一件事，让某个事物成功，可以有不同的方法。我因经历过无数失败，在失败后，总会怀疑自己的方法是错误的，比如冥想无法养成习惯，便有类似的想法。
但事实上，任何方法都有可能通向成功，即便是让人觉得非常奇怪的方法。漫勉里的漫画家每个人的习惯不一样，创作方式不一样，但他们都能做出让人喜欢的作品。

Make sure you understand the fundamental principles, i.e. the trunk and big branches, before you get into the leaves/details or there is nothing for them to hang on to."
This sentiment reminds me of a quote from John Reed in a book called Succeeding. He says: "When you first start to study a field, it seems like you have to memorize a zillion things. You don't. What you need is to identify the core principles – generally three to twelve of them – that govern the field. The million things you thought you had to memorize are simply various combinations of the core principles."
