Exactly so. Mark has hit the nail on the head in his tweet (above).

The squandering of human health and potential is never taken into account on the balance sheets of capitalism, but future generations will certainly take note of them when assessing our era.

Children will ask how the people allowed such crimes to be committed ...
Deputy Leader Joti introduces this week's discussion by outlining the worrying trend of ideas about separatism and independence that seems to have swept into social media and other outlets. Working class unity has always been the main threat to the capitalist ruling class. We are witnessing the collapse of a failing capitalist system which has caused our rulers to panic. As a result of this panic, they are injecting funding into the promotion of independence parties and projects, in a bid to distract and divide the working class.

Panellists Tess, Andrew, Ian and Helen discuss their concerns on the subject including the mysterious emergence of independence polls in Wales, warnings against 'separatist escapism' in the north of England and the utopian myth that has become Scotland's 'groundhog day'.
