I shouldn't keep any record of the
planet we have set talon on, but this expedition warrants at least some notes. I've never seen anything like this. Our instruments and systems cannot get any sensical readings, we had to handle the planetary approach manually. The surface is surreal: There are entire chunks of land defying gravity with no sign of magnetic or superconductive behaviour, and we found something strange. The stuff looks like copper, two disks of it, one lodged in a lone wall sitting in the middle of a valley, the other just floating right in front of it. Taking one disk has proved difficult, the two seem locked in some way, despite absolutely nothing connecting them. they also seem to spin independently from one another like the most friction-free bearing you could imagine. i don't know what to make of it yet. we will get more info once we can analyze the thing proper with our tools outside this terrible anomalous radius the planet seems to be engulfed by.
