We have taken bets against Farsley in recent weeks and been successful and I am doing so again. They do not have the squad capable of surviving relegation. Up against a Peterborough side who won back to back games 3-1 vs playoff sides Buxton & Kings Lynn but then lost 2 games by a 1-0 scoreline to top of the league Chester & playoff chasing Hereford but performances were solid. We have been backing against Farsley for quite some time now & things have not improved at all. Their owner has left the club and given control to the board, their manager left, came back & has left again so they had to get a new man in. The squad is full of youth players who aren't capable of competing in the league. This is a fixture every team will target to get maximum points and goals from for the rest of the season. Lost their last 4/4 with scorelines of 3-0, 6-1, 2-0 & 4-1. Playing this at a neutral venue with almost no fans to support them. Southport aren't world beaters, but they have a decent squad & beat Alfreton 2-0 in their last away game, the same team who recently hammered Farsley 4-1. Anything other than a Southport win will be a major shock.

Cambridge have just made it back to back wins over a top Stockport side & Crawley today. They are now moving into must win territory desperate for wins to help them move away from the relegation zone. On the other hand, we have a Stevenage side who have lost their last 5/7 games in all comps. Midtable so no hopes of getting into playoffs and won't get relegated so not much motivation left for the remaining games which can be seen in their performances. Cambridge were hugely impressive in their last home game vs a promotion chasing Stockport side and I expect them to get their 3rd win in a row to boost their survival chances.

This run has got them level on points with Crewe who are in the final playoff spot but Grimsby have a game in hand. Now face a Notts side who are struggling massively right now. Got fully dominated by Wimbledon in a 2-0 loss today & were beaten by a poor Barrow side at home in midweek. Just 1 win in 6 now and performances just keep on declining. An in-form Grimsby side pushing for playoffs look great value on the 0.0 AH.
