The graph illustrates the average cost of cell phone and residential phone services of America within the period 2001 to 2010 annually.

Overall, spending on Residential phone services dramatically decreased over this 10 years period, where the costing on Cell phone services increased very sharply. Also, in 2006 these two elements are met at the same point.

In 2001, The expenses on home land phones were so high and it is around $700, while the cost of cell phone is only about $200. Over the following five years, the expenditure on residential phone services gradually dropped bellow $600, where the expense on cell phone services rose above $500. After that, in 2006, the both elements reached at the same place. Meanwhile, in 2007 the cost of land phones stuck and fall downed slowly afterwards. Finally, at the 2010, the expenditure on cell phone reached around $750 and the expense of residential phone services went down around $400.
