Got a special gift today — a signed copy of My Overdue Book from Peter Bright himself.
He wrote:
“Sevinchoy, thank you for your help. Best always” right inside the cover and handed to me.
It’s not every day you get something this personal from the author. Grateful for the gesture — this one’s going on the shelf for good.

Lately, I’ve been diving into feminine energy and understanding how our bodies and moods truly work.
These two books by Alisa Vitti helped me a lot:
• WomanCode
• In the Flo
I highly recommend them for all the girls as well. Truly empowering reads.✨

Internship Experience at the Committee for Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan
This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to complete my internship with the Committee for Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
It was a truly rewarding experience where I was able to see how my academic studies in Women’sans Gender Studies connect to real-world initiatives. I took part in activities and events focused on gender equality, women’s empowerment, and community development — areas that I am really passionate about.
Being directly involved in the work of the Committee gave me a deeper understanding of how policies and programs are implemented at the national level. It was inspiring to see dedicated professionals working toward creating meaningful change for women and families in Uzbekistan.
I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to my supervisor, Ugiloy Urazova. Despite her very busy schedule, she was always supportive, approachable, and ready to guide me. She became a true role model for me — showing what it means to be a strong leader through her professionalism, effective communication, and remarkable leadership skills. Her mentorship made this experience even more meaningful.
This internship has motivated me even more as I begin my third year of studies. I am excited to continue learning, growing, and preparing myself to contribute to the important work of advancing gender equity both in my country and globally.
Grateful for this opportunity, and looking forward to what’s ahead!
