Long decades ago, we took a wrong turn in agriculture. More, bigger, faster was our goal. Everything became centralized and controlled by companies and bureaucracies that have now formed a giant oligarchy. We traded our community, culture and sovereignty for cheap corn. We need decentralized and local food production.
Ironically, we should not depend on centralized fertilizer production either. We can harvest Nitrogen from the air which is 70% Nitrogen. Primary and cover crops that contain legumes are able to grab this Nitrogen for your secondary crops.
So we can tell the climate clowns that our gardens are carbon and nitrogen neutral but they won't care at all. They never did. They will laugh as they board their jet for their next stop at some pedo-paradise.
They are offering us a choice: Take care of your self or we will take care of you.

Garden In A Day Project
This is a pilot for a community custom we want to start. We can plan and accumulate all the resource needed for a garden, show up and plunk it all down in one day. A planning visit would be required as well as some follow up visits but only one day would be needed for multiple people to show up and make it all happen.
A community member needed help getting their garden going this year. Their beds were overgrown with weeds. Due to some difficulties, they were unable to to get this done.
The last thing we did was water this down really well. The grass is so thick, we may have a danger of over heating. Something to be aware of.
