How to fix Steam?

At the moment, Valve is lying drunk in a ditch, so users have found several solutions:
1. Install Steam without uninstalling (download the installer and install it in the same folder; your data will be preserved)
2. Unplug USB input devices (especially joysticks)
3. In my case, changing the graphics card helped
4. Install Steam, repeat when restarting

Fixes:
- Corrected events that were playing incorrectly due to game updates.
- Fixed several crashes due to incorrect game data.
- Fixed the map checking logic that caused the DM bot to leave the match immediately after loading (additional checks may be required; negative feedback is welcome).
- Fixed several crashes when using the bot.
