Но теперь она выглядит совсем другой, словно азарт и риск от службы эксплоитеру ушли куда-то глубоко и были заменены опытом, о котором Вэммбу не имеет понятия. Тем вечером мы нашли место и засели работать на пару дней, периодически выходя на выматывающие приключения. Один раз Флэйм отправил координаты занявшие две ночи путешествия! Очевидно, империи там не было.

And he was dead, an orange blur in the vivid fight, bloody and probably crunchy from shattered bones, a step away from a grueling death.

His windcharges started missing, the strength potion made him cough, leaving a sticky, bitter taste on his lips. Trail chamber bullshit. He can't wait to make his own potions...don't get distracted.

This can't be. He banned Manepear - one of PrinceZam's..citizens? He couldn't have survived, he layed on the ground unmoving! But they picked him up, he healed and returned to the battle.
Impossible shit.

Wemmbu grunted. Egg, Jumper and Minute were already fussing over him, feeding him and making sure he didn't lose too much fighting gear.
In fact, Wemmbu was okay. He ate a Godapple that made the battle possible and the pain went numbing down before even hurting. These guys on the other hand? Probably weren't geared enough for that. They didn't see him as a threat, huh?

Stupid. Why are they so stupid? They think that he will really tell them all his plans, huh? That anyone will let them know their answers and go on their way? That's stupid. Flame is stupid. Mane is better even if he attacks him.

But Wemmbu didn't let his thoughts run too far, there were things of more importance. The diamond blade in his hand was polished carefully but not perfectly, the handle cooling down after lacking its owner's hold. Flame's sword. His. Junky and not sharp-enough, made with a hurried hand, but still Flame's.

Очевидно, они их не послушали. Изначально Вэммбу сам был против идеи - они собирались ставить эти эксперименты на Сквиддо, уже измученной и уставшей, однако..
Они её не потеряли. Нет. Нет.

Wemmbu stirred the wine in his glass, overlooking the three teammates watching and listening to him with full attention. His legs were crossed as he sat on the dark table, eyes squinting with something grim, as he told the story of Squiddo - the story everyone will soon hear. The new truth, because he won't admit the real one. He won't admit that...that..
Squiddo, from now on, is dead. Died while being tortured, or as Egg suggested - was burned in lava multiple times, till she stopped coming back. He doesn't care if the story doesn't make sense, they never lost her. They did it on purpose. They murdered her in cold blood.

Теперь, когда планы изменились и Эгг всё ещё проявлял энтузиазм расколоть систему этого мира и вчитаться, Вэммбу решил попробовать. Они вчетвером дошли до границы, экспериментировали с сломанными блоками, пытаюсь за неё выбраться.
But they couldn't, until Egg could.
And only the two remained. They noticed that no life was there - a chicken, maybe, that crossed the barrier to get back into mainland anyways, maybe a zombie or two.
All life in Egg's side gone, while Wemmbu kept sliding with his trident into stupid fish, accompanying Egg from the normal side.

The sensation of being outside was tingling, at least wearing armour. It made him stupidly confident, and next time they went to check new stuff out - find a village across the border, Wemmbu gave Egg all his armour and totems, GodApples and Gapples alike,

For him to drop on the ground.
Wemmbu didn't panic. He never does, of course.

But he failed returning to their outpost 500 blocks away, so he had to run back to save Egg, but there was a lil issue,
Without armour the outside was suffocating. He felt dead before stepping two meters close to Egg's body, and when he managed to hold out his hand, for the seraphim to grab and hold onto, he dropped. The angel stood up, stumbled, and Wemmbu had to watch him fall again. Being alive hurt.

And there was no one to save him, because Egg was still in danger - you wake up with half a heart, and with the damage you get from the outlands, he had mere milliseconds to do anything, let alone walk.

So Wemmbu gave up, felt his lungs burn and body ache like he was stripped off his skin, the pressure building and overlapping in his skull, like he was crushed purely by the atmosphere around, burned and sliced open at the same time.

He revived near the emergency bed, ignoring the feeling of rearranged organs and acid in his mouth, and hurried through his sore body to get to Egg and save him. He never addressed the pain he went through, because Egg, probably, felt it too. (He hopes not.)

They did it! Yes, Wemmbu dropped again, experienced the pain he already had, but Egg tossed him a totem and grabbed him with him, and thats how they escaped.
