1️⃣ Production Plug: Isolates the oil reservoir at the bottom.
2️⃣ Protection Plug: Isolates groundwater layers to prevent their contamination.
3️⃣ Surface Plug: The final seal of the well before its steel head is cut.

• Weight (Tagging): Confirms the cement's hardness and position.
• Pressure: Confirms there is no gas leakage.

What to do when the cement doesn't reach the surface?
Simply, we can Top-Up the cement using small diameter tubing by running it into the anulus and pump the cement slurry. Although this technique is not always efficient, but It can achieve the objective.
