I got scammed yesterday when I bought a honeypot token without doing my research

It happened in the evening. I was checking out the $CMD69 chart on RedoTrade and went to look at the trending (HOT) memecoins board because $CMD69 was at the TOP #1 spot

I wanted to see if it was still on top and that’s when I saw this unbelievable token sitting at the top. It looked too good to be true

I don’t know what I was thinking at the time because the first thing I did after watching the chart go up like crazy was immediately buy it blindly with the $25 sitting in my wallet

Then I went to share it on my TG channel to ask if anyone had any information about the token. But before that I immediately started doing my research and couldn’t find any data about it

I rushed back to sell the token but the trading bot had already labeled it as a scam and there was nothing I could do at that point

That’s what FOMO gets you

For a moment I forgot that the main value was context and attribution, which lowers the chance of buying purely out of FOMO

So this is a big lesson for me. I got off easy and I hope you can learn from my mistake and always do your own research before you ape in

This would have never happened if I had used Conso Signals

What I should’ve done was what I usually do and that is to use Conso Signals for retrospective tracking and check the stats of that CA. I might have seen it coming and could have easily distinguished a valid token from a honeypot, since the analytics filter obvious honeypots out of the performance numbers

So I learned my lesson and today I started using the new Trading feature on Conso and bought 10 $GRAM worth of $VOLYA to get positioned for the TON MEME SZN
