Quick Community Update:

I've been in SF for about a month now - and our beta has been open about the same.

We have learned alot, and have some really exciting plans for wav.3.

Our priority has not been on growth or acquisition but taking a look at our first quarter together and evaluating everything from first principles.

In my time here I've been able to befriend the authors of x402, make connections at Google (who are throwing their full weight behind web3), and some really incredible builders and founders.

Long and the short, we are positioning ourselves to be prepared for the opportunities that are opening up around us.

What's Up WAV.Makers 🌊

An update for you all… Here's what actually happened over the last two months, what changed, and where this is going.


THE PIVOT

Let's start here because it's the most important thing.

Some of you were with us from the beginning… the Telegram app, Spotify linking, listening rewards. That version of WAV.3 launched in September 2025 and hit hard: 1,500 users on day one, 7,500 peak organic signups in the first two weeks.

But here's the truth: Although it proved demand, rewarding people just to listen was more noise than signal. We believe in a larger vision where people should be compensated for the data they generate. The product itself, as it was, wasn't solving the deeper problem.

So we pivoted.

Blue Sky Tech is now building the human behavioral data layer for the agent economy. Same mission, different angle. Instead of rewarding listening directly, we're building infrastructure where AI agents can query your behavioral data, with your permission, and you get paid when they do.

Music is still the entry point. Your listening behavior is one of the most emotionally rich, high-frequency signals you produce as a human being. Most behavioral decisions are made emotionally. Platforms like Spotify sit on that data and have zero incentive to share it. We're building the system that changes that.


WHAT ACTUALLY GOT DONE

Thesis and positioning locked. We went from "listen-to-earn app" to "human compensation layer for the agent economy." The brand story, investor narrative, and technical thesis are aligned.

3 signed LOIs. Real letters of intent with real companies:

▸ daMp Interactive — Independent sync and licensing company. Structured behavioral data enhancing catalog monetization and sync placement.
▸ ThenAI — AI data brokerage. Validates commercial demand — buyers want this data.
▸ EarthProgram — Strategic collaboration across behavioral intelligence, AI systems, and data infrastructure.

+1 in the works:
▸ Tyger Media — AI-powered catalog, sync, and music intelligence. Integration of user-consented listening data into their AI discovery pipeline.

Accepted into Antler's Residency Program. Full Austin, TX and NYC residency. Both founders committed.

Applied to AllianceDAO. Our second application, this time with revenue, traction, LOIs, and a clear infrastructure thesis. First time we applied we had an idea. This time we came back with proof.

Applied to Monad's Nitro Accelerator. We met the Monad team at EthDenver and they loved our idea. Urged us to apply to their accelerator. We'll see. We aren't dependent on any of these accelerators, but it would be a good opportunity to build in an accelerated fashion with either of these programs.

Chain partner conversations initiated. Briefs sent and conversations opened with Base, Vara, zkSync, and others. Not closed deals… open relationships we're building deliberately. We're deferring deeper engagement until we have product and revenue in hand.

Funding pipeline developing. Palm Venture Studios in active conversation around a pilot. Base Ecosystem Fund is a strategic target. Vara/Gear Foundation on the radar for later-stage grants. Building the pipeline, not rushing closes.

Community and network activation. Live performances, Luma events in New York and Austin, artist and fan relationship building, warm referrals activated. We're in rooms, on stages, shaking hands.

Full system architecture designing. The technical blueprint for the behavioral data registry is being specced — ingestion, permissions, agent query layer, settlement, consumer app, buyer integrations. It hasn't been built yet. That's next.

Beta data validated. 20 beta users, 108,300+ listening minutes. Real longitudinal behavioral data confirming the model works at small scale.


WHERE WE'RE GOING

The next phase is building. Period.

We're entering a focused sprint to ship the first version: browser extension for data ingestion, permission engine, first agent query endpoint, and payouts. The goal is simple — a first paid query. Someone pays to access structured, user-consented behavioral data, and the humans whose data was used get compensated.

We're also planning waitlist conversion. You've been patient. The product is coming.


WHY THIS MATTERS

AI agents are coming. They're going to make decisions, buy things, recommend things, and coordinate entire economies on behalf of humans. To do that well, they need to understand people… not through clicks and time-on-screen, but through real behavioral patterns that reveal taste, preference, and emotional context.

You own your data. You set the rules. Machines pay to use it. You get compensated.

Music is first. Everything else follows.
