πŸ“– Crypto #glossary kickoff

Each week, we'll briefly explain a few useful crypto terms. You can find the topic of interest using the hashtag #glossary in the title. Today, let's break down the difference between two types of crypto wallets:

Custodial Wallet β€” a custodial wallet is managed by a third party. Using a custodial wallet offers simplicity and convenience, and you have the option to regain access. This makes it an ideal option for beginners.

Non-custodial Wallet β€” a non-custodial wallet is managed solely by you. Access is granted via a secret phrase (or seed phrase), and all transactions occur on the blockchain. Losing your secret phrase means losing access to your assets, however, such wallets provide enhanced control over your digital assets, making them perfect for experienced users.

Simply put, Wallet is a custodial service, while TON Space is non-custodial πŸ’Ž

πŸ“– Weekly #glossary: simplifying crypto terms

Bitcoin is gearing up for a halving, where miner rewards decrease, possibly leading to an ATH. It may sound complex, so we've got another edition of our #glossary to clear it all up:

Miners β€” users with specialized equipment who maintain the blockchain and receive rewards.

Bitcoin halving β€” an event occurring every 4 years. After a halving, miner rewards are halved. Historically, Bitcoin's price has surged after each halving. The next halving is slated for April (just a few weeks away).

ATH (All-Time High) β€” the highest price ever recorded for a coin. Currently, Bitcoin's ATH sits at $73,737.

Our community believes Bitcoin will hit ATH soon. Just a reminder: you can buy Bitcoin easily with Wallet πŸ’Ž

πŸ“– Weekly #glossary: simplifying crypto terms

Like traditional assets, cryptocurrencies follow two major trends - bullish and bearish. To keep you informed, we've prepared another edition of #glossary

Bull market β€” a period when digital asset prices start to rise. Many newcomers enter the market, demand grows, and prices increase. The bull market is considered favorable for buying cryptocurrency.

Bear market β€” the opposite of a bull market. Declining prices and demand for digital assets characterize the bear market (also called β€œcrypto winter”). During a bear market, many users exchange cryptocurrency for stablecoins.

Markets operate in cycles, with a bear cycle always followed by a bull cycle. Given that Bitcoin recently reached its All-Time High, and TON has come close, we are definitely in a bull cycle πŸ“ˆ
