It's come to my attention that there's a number of campers that have been struggling to feed themselves at all for the last few months, as in, they're not eating at all
I know times are tough for all, so what I've done is organized a collection. I'm looking for those who would be willing to make a small monthly commitment of $5-25+/month for the next year into this fund. The goal is to provide some semblance of stability
WAG won't take a cut, there's no tax credits, this is a straight flow through, we're just collecting and protecting identities
Currently we're looking to raise assistance for four dogs, so you have an idea of the scale ~ also working to set people up with ngo and govermental resources

The Next Wruffin'It is scheduled for August 6-10th 2026 at Lazy M*
This is conditional on them being able to offer the space to us, and will be influenced about where they are in the sales process.
We'll begin taking registrations next month, with refund options available if we are not able to meet the camp dates. If the property has not sold by April 1st (we kno), or has sold to a new owner who wishes to retain the booking, then camp will be 100% a go for 2026.
We will need to start sales soon because if we are good to go in April, we'll have to make our first lease payment then. So we're planning on success, and preparing for the alternative
I will begin recruiting and training staff in the coming months.
As far as long term, there's a few of us working on a strategy to look at securing a venue (hopefully lazy m) that we can continue camp at, and welcome like minded camps too. More information will come out about that when we're ready.
A question we get a lot is "What about Eagle Creek?" We've toured the site, met with thier management team, gone over thier rules and expectations and feel that in order to fit at that venue we'd compromise too much on what makes Wruffin'It great. For many reasons, it's not a good fit and isn't an option for us at this time.
So what can you do? Pencil us in to your calendar, start budgeting, and get ready to tell all your friends that puppy camp continues!

Other issues will be addressed as best effort:

This will allow me to batch out work (I'm hesitant to outsource to Ai rn) and keep it predictable and manageable for all.
