In 1846 a slave named Dred Scott and his wife, Harriet, sued for their freedom in a St. Louis city court.
In the 1857 Dred Scott decision, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that African Americans were not citizens of the United States.
Is this the same U.S. Supreme Court we are looking for answers from in 2022?

Montgomery Blair was the Attorney for Dred Scott in 1856.
The U.S. Supreme Court ruling on March 6, 1857 argued that as someone's property, Dred Scott was not a citizen and could not sue in federal court.
What would the ruling be if the court was asked to define "woman"?
I often refer to the Dred Scott Decision to point out how ridiculous the laws of man can be.
Just ignore them. Our rights are not up for a debate or up for a vote.
