Europe is strong when it stands united – and yesterday, we proved it together! 💙💛

Thank you for showing up, for making noise, for reminding the world that #StandWithUkraine is more than just a slogan.

A special thanks to our partners at Campact e.V., who once again showed that we are not alone!

🇺🇦:

Café Kyiv is more than just an event – it is a space for dialogue, inspiration, and solidarity.

(🇩🇪 & 🇺🇦 in comments)

Through discussions, panels, and cultural encounters, it connects people from Ukraine, Germany, and beyond who are committed to a shared free future for Ukraine and Europe.

🎙️ This year, the Vitsche team organized three panel discussions on disinformation and decolonization with incredible speakers, as well as the premiere of the film Zinema by director Korniy Hrytsiuk.

The discussion "Weapons of Slow Destruction: Russian State Propaganda" and the premiere of the documentary Zinema were made in cooperation with the Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung.

The discussion "Decolonizing the Discourse on Europe’s East" was made in cooperation with the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung.

🤝 We thank the Café Kyiv team and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung for the opportunity to be a partner in this incredible event.

See you next year! 🇺🇦

What happens EVERY TIME russia talks about peace?

Yesterday, Donald Trump wrote that he had a “very good” conversation with Putin. According to him, russia had agreed to an immediate ceasefire on energy and infrastructure targets.

That same night, russia launched attacks on civilian objects.

📍 Sumy region: russian troops attacked a hospital in the Krasnopillia community twice. During the evacuation of patients, the enemy carried out 5 more strikes, partially destroying the shelter. 22 people were trapped inside, including seven mobility-impaired patients.

Overall, on the night of March 19, russian attacks struck people in the regions of Sumy, Odesa, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, and Chernihiv.

That same night, Ukraine shot down 72 attack drones and 56 decoy drones.

russia is “ready” for a ceasefire – but only with words. Its actions prove the opposite EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Real peace means justice, not surrender.

(DE & UA in comments)

This Easter, over 90 so-called peace marches will take place across Germany. But many of them no longer stand for global justice. They repeat kremlin narratives — calling not for russia to stop its war, but for Europe to stop defending itself.

Under slogans like “disarmament instead of defense,” they demand that Germany and the EU cut defense spending. But in a world where dictatorships attack democracies, disarmament kills.

While russia negotiates directly with the US, bypassing Europe and showing no will to stop its aggression, a ceasefire now would only freeze occupation, reward war crimes, and lead to more invasions.

We at Vitsche are launching a campaign for real, just peace and we need your support! ❤️‍🩹

We’ll organize a counteraction during Berlin’s Ostermarsch, launch powerful content that show what peace truly means: justice, safety, and freedom.
