The Original #Muscleworks Gym

In it's early days this was a male only gym & produced many impressive body builders. It's a shame to see it's moved but at least it's remained in the area. This really was a no nonsense, gritty & amazing place to train.

1958 - A touching, nostalgic account of a mother in #BethnalGreen, #London discussing her life & 5 children living on her street (unthinkable today).

A typical example of a wholesome, kind, east-end mother from a stock we see no more. Modest, feminine & comforting; this was home.
