"Farewell to you old #Ireland since I must go away,
I now shake hands and bid goodbye, and can no longer stay.
Our big ship lies in deep Lough Foyle, bound for the New York shore.
And I must go from all I know, and lovely Moneymore.

That little town, encircled round, with many’s the grove and hill.
Where lads and lassies they do meet, for pleasure there’s the rule.
Through Springhill Braes and flowery fields, where oft I’ve wandered o’er.
And by my side was the girl I loved, the rose of Moneymore"

"#OnThisDay 1915 The men of the 1st Battalion Royal Irish Rifles went over the top at the Battle of Neuve Chapelle. They managed to take the village but at a deadly cost.Over the next three days they would lose nearly 460 men; 18 officers & 440 other ranks."

During this mornings walk, a tear met my eye in the thought of the hatred I bore for the lands of my lineage. It's time I took a trip to #Ireland, to the tiny place on earth in which we all owe so much. When I will, I'm not sure, but like most English, I've some roots to uncover.

Our Love for the Anglo-Celtic Isles

[1080p Edition for Telegram]
The climate of #Britain, #Ireland, and #Europe mightn't appeal to everyone. The unexplainable, magnetic connection we have for our true home is why #WeAreWhoWeAre 💚

Dougie MacLean – Auld Lang Syne
I've been to many countries that never gave me feeling of home what so ever. Being in Scotland and hearing the music that paints a picture of it's brilliance has always felt right.

As if a fish escaping it's bowl, nature calls us home one way or another.

These Isles and all therein belongs to us. Between one's love for London, England and the Isles in which we derive, it's clear that my home is by no means a static spot, but the entirety of the Anglo-Celtic Isles.

To exist is nothing like existing.

Patrick Dexter (@patrickdextervc) serenading us from the west of #Ireland. It's moments and people such as this that truly emphasise how "progress" has become a dirty word.

Eerie, colurised footage of #Ireland in 1929. The audio is genuinely as wholesome as the video. The laughter they share encapsulates their stoic grit and brings a smile to my face. The times and the work were hard, but they had each other, and the appreciation of what that meant.
This is an antique photograph of #Milford, #CountyDonegal, #Ireland. The absence of colour only seems to emphasise the quaintness of this beautiful image.

This video of #Ireland in 1929 stares into the eyes of our ancestors. Listen carefully, and you'll hear the back and forth of the Irish as they lived their humble and wholesome lives. It almost feels as if for a brief moment, you're in a time long gone.
