Vigan is the capital of Ilocos Sur province in the Philippines, located on the northwest coast of Luzon Island. It is one of the best-preserved and most representative Spanish colonial cities in Asia. Famous for its cobblestone streets and Baroque architecture that blends Chinese and Western styles, it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999.
