•    The Indo Pacific International Maritime Exposition, a significant defence expo sponsored by the NSW government, was held in Sydney from November 4-6, 2025. This event brought together defence industry leaders and included discussions on emerging technologies, which may have encompassed directed energy systems.
    •    The Australian Defence Science and Technology (DST) Group, in partnership with the University of New South Wales (UNSW), has hosted Emerging Disruptive Technology Assessment Symposia (EDTAS) to explore advances in directed energy technologies. These events are typically targeted at experts from academia, industry, and Defence.
    •    The Australian military has been actively testing and demonstrating directed energy weapons systems (such as the Fractl Portable High Energy Laser) at various military areas across Australia, including a remote range in western NSW in 2023.

The Australian military tests directed energy weapons (DEWs) and related counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) technology primarily at the Puckapunyal Military Area in Victoria and the Woomera Range Complex in South Australia.

Primary Testing Locations
    •    Puckapunyal Military Area, Victoria
: This location has hosted demonstrations and field trials of the Australian Army's first directed energy weapon prototype, the "Fractl Portable High Energy Laser" system, which is designed for counter-drone applications.
    •    Woomera Range Complex, South Australia: As one of the world's largest and most secluded land-based test ranges, the Woomera Range Complex is frequently used for complex air, ground, and space test activities by the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and its allies. Its quiet electromagnetic environment makes it ideal for testing advanced systems, and research and development experiments for emerging technologies, including unmanned aerial systems and potentially DEWs, are conducted here.

Other Relevant Locations
    •    Port Wakefield Proof and Experimental Establishment, South Australia
: This site is used for general weapons trials and munitions testing and could be used for specific components or environmental testing of DEW systems.
    •    Klondyke Range Complex, New South Wales: While privately owned, this facility has been used by defence companies like Electro Optic Systems (EOS) for testing their counter-drone systems, which include vehicle-mounted high-energy lasers, for the ADF and other partners.
    •    QinetiQ Laboratories, Adelaide, South Australia: QinetiQ, in collaboration with the Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG), has conducted Australian-first demonstrations of high-power laser optical chains at their laboratories in Adelaide as part of the research and development phase for sovereign DEW capabilities.
These various locations support the research, development, and testing of emerging DEW technology within Australia's defence industry and military forces.

Most people don’t realize this… But the ears are loaded with energetic meridians that connect to your organs, nervous system, and emotional centers.

So what happens when you pierce through those pathways?

Piercing certain energetic meridians places could be throwing your body out of balance, and it can actually disrupt energy flow and impact your health in subtle (but powerful) ways.
