SKIN CANCER RATES HAVE INCREASED 3,000% SINCE SUNSCREEN WAS INVENTED. READ THAT AGAIN.

In 1938, the first commercial sunscreen was introduced. Since then, the sunscreen industry has grown into a $15 billion global market. People now cover every inch of their skin before stepping outside. Children are coated in it from birth.

And skin cancer rates have done nothing but explode.

If sunscreen prevents skin cancer, and sunscreen use has increased every single decade for 80 years, then skin cancer should be disappearing. Instead, melanoma rates have risen by over 3,000% since the 1930s. The countries with the highest sunscreen use have the highest rates of skin cancer on Earth.

Something does not add up.

In 2019, the FDA conducted a study on the four most common sunscreen chemicals — avobenzone, oxybenzone, octocrylene, and ecamsule. They found that after a single application, these chemicals absorb through the skin and enter the bloodstream within hours. The blood concentration of oxybenzone reached levels 438 times higher than the FDA's own safety threshold.

They published the study. Then they did nothing.

Oxybenzone is a known endocrine disruptor. It mimics estrogen in the human body. It has been linked to hormone disruption, early puberty in children, low sperm count in men, and increased risk of breast cancer in women. You are rubbing an estrogen-mimicking industrial chemical directly onto your skin and the skin of your children every single day.

Now here is what they will never tell you.

The sun does not cause cancer. The sun is the single most important input for human health. When ultraviolet B rays hit your skin, your body produces vitamin D3 — the most powerful anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, immune-boosting hormone in your biology. A 20-year study of 29,518 Swedish women published in the Journal of Internal Medicine found that women who avoided the sun had a mortality rate TWICE as high as women who sunbathed regularly. Avoiding the sun was as dangerous as smoking.

Your ancestors lived under the sun for 200,000 years without sunscreen. They did not have an epidemic of skin cancer. They had strong bones, powerful immune systems, and functioning hormones.

The sunscreen industry blocks the very thing that protects you, poisons your blood with chemicals, and then tells you to reapply every two hours.

Go outside. Let the sun hit your skin. Stop poisoning yourself to avoid the one thing your body was built to absorb.
