Minnesota Men Posed as UPS Driver in Triple Homicide, Sentenced to Life Without Parole

Alonzo Pierre Mingo, 39, of Fridley, was sentenced to life without parole after conviction on eight murder counts for the January 2024 killings of Shannon Patricia Jungwirth, 42; Mario Alberto Trejo Estrada, 39; and Jorge Alexander Reyes-Jungwirth, 20.

Mingo and accomplices, two dressed as UPS drivers, used a cardboard box to gain entry. Surveillance showed their blue Nissan Altima (owned by Mingo) at the scene; his fingerprints were on the box, and a UPS uniform was found in his possession.

The victims were shot execution-style in front of two young children. The case gained attention for the deceptive delivery-driver tactic and targeted attack.

The other two charged for the crime are Demetrius Trenton Shumpert and Omari Malik Shumpert. Their sentencing will take place in January 2026.
