AHPRA is an business/corporation (NGO) with an ABN. Made up of 1 doctor, 4 lawyers and 4 accountants but uses a gov.au email along with the Gov Australian crest. Rather deceptive. State gov health wanted a national overseeing body. Who pays them other than the pharma companies and 1%? The doctors with their membership fees and more than likely taxpayers again. Since AHPRA is a corporation by what authority are they are able to suspend/cancel/fine/imprison medicos lawfully?
