Niagara Falls Freezes Over
Niagara Falls froze over during Christmas as the polar vortex plaguing North America sent temperatures plummeting. Mist froze solid and the water below the falls turned to ice as the famous falls became a picturesque scene that was both beautiful and deadly. So far, over 50 people have succumbed to the storm that is proving to be the most severe in decades, although that didn’t stop people donning their warmest coats to take selfies at the frozen falls.
