▪️ Instagram has blocked all RT and Sputnik accounts in 27 European countries

▪️ Japanese companies Honda and Mazda have stopped the export of cars, motorcycles, and spare parts to Russia

▪️ Companies Boeing and Airbus have suspended support for Russian airlines and have stopped delivery of spare parts

▪️ Maersk, a shipping company, active in ocean and inland freight transportation, has temporarily suspended all cargo transportations into and out of Russia

▪️ The Cannes Festival 2022 has refused to admit the official Russian delegation this year

⚡️Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom made a significant donation to the Ukrainian refugee assistance Fund

The donation is sent to provide Ukrainian refugees with food, water, medicine, clothing, and housing.

A Buckingham Palace source told: “This is unusual for royal family as they typically stay out of politics and don’t provide monetary support.”

Buckingham Palace did not specify the donation amount but called it very generous.

UNICEF has condemned Russia's attack on a maternity hospital in Mariupol.

The Foundation called for an immediate ceasefire and compliance with international humanitarian law obligations to protect children.

"I am shocked by today's information about the attack on the maternity hospital in Mariupol. According to reports, small children and women in labor were found under the rubble of the destroyed buildings... Attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure - including hospitals, water supply facilities, and schools - are out of range and must be stopped immediately. UNICEF reiterates its call for an immediate ceasefire and calls for compliance with its obligations under international humanitarian law to protect children, as well as for humanitarian organizations to have safe and rapid access to children in need," said UNICEF Executive Director Catherine M. Russell.

❗️The Verkhovna Rada has banned the import of books and other publishing products from russia and belarus

The relevant law №7459, "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on Restricting the Import and Distribution of Publishing Products Concerning the Aggressor State, the Republic of Belarus, the Temporarily Occupied Territory of Ukraine," was adopted at the session on June 19.

The constitutional majority of the Rada voted "FOR" – 306 votes.

🚫 The law prohibits the import and distribution of books and other publishing products from the territory of the aggressor state of the russian federation, belarus, the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. The import and sale of books and other publications by russian citizens are prohibited.

Administrative liability for the import and distribution of publishing products from russia and belarus, as well as literature included in the Register of anti-Ukrainian publishing products, has been established.

📣 IMPORTANT!

In Ukraine, from January 1, 2023, books will be published and distributed only in the state Ukrainian language, the languages ​​of the indigenous peoples of Ukraine, and the official languages ​​of the European Union.

Books in other languages ​​may be published and distributed if they are published in the original language. Translated literature must be printed and distributed in translations into Ukrainian or any official language of the European Union or the language of the indigenous people of Ukraine.
