Photo of the handshake of General Andrey Shkuro, head of the Cossack reserve Waffen-SS and Colonel Ivan Kononov, commander of the 5th Donsky Regiment of the Wehrmacht Cossack Division. 1944.
"On a warm spring day on the occasion of Kononov's birthday, celebrations took place in our regiment. The most honorable and dearest guest Konononov had on this day, came from Germany on the occasion of General Shkuro's birthday."
He, as always, felt like a master and unwittingly forced everyone to obey him. In the midst of the fun, Shkuro made a speech, in which he emphasized that despite the terror, the communists could not destroy the Cossacks.
′′Ivan Nikitich, come here, please." called General Shkuro. Kononov came up and stood at ease.
"With this contraption, my father was pulling me on the donkey." Shkuro said in Ukrainian, showing everyone the weaving of expensive Caucasian work, with a gilded cuttings.
′′And now I give it to my dear son, Kononov. Take it, Cossack! You have my blessing. You deserve it!"

A Boer Kommando in Southern Argentina, 1912
Some Afrikaners left South Africa after the fall of their republics: Transvaal & Orange Free State, following the Anglo-Boer War. The Kommando tradition is similar to that of a War Band. The standard weapon was used in the Anglo Boer was the Mauser imported from Germany. The Boers were famous for their understanding of nature, agriculture and accuracy - they took their Mauser with to Argentina. This is an account of a Boer Kommando eliminating a dangerous gang of Russian-Jews in Argentina.

Commemoration Parade of the Latvian Legion / Latviešu Leģion
Both the 15th Waffen-SS division and the 19th Waffen-SS division fought together when the Soviet assault began on March 16, 1944. Combat took place along the Velikaya River. Both the Axis and the Soviets wanted command of Hill “93,4” because of its strategic height. Although the Waffen-SS was forced to withdraw their position, days later, the 15th division of the Waffen-SS counterattacked the Soviets. Led by Colonel Arturs Silgailis, the hill was successfully recaptured. The Soviets turned their attention elsewhere.
It is the only battle in World War II history that was led solely by Latvian commanders. March 16 was specifically chosen as the day to honor the Latvian Legion and its veterans.
The first commemoration of the Legion veterans took place on March 16, 1990 in Latvia. It wasn’t until 1998 that the country’s parliament voted to mark this day as a national day of remembrance.

The Shocking Truth (2012) claims that the most famous ship in the world did not actually sink. Instead, it suggests that the Titanic had a successful career ferrying passengers across the Atlantic. According to the documentary, the Olympic was badly damaged in a collision with a warship and was beyond repair. To save the White Star Line from financial ruin, Ismay and Pirrie orchestrated a plan to swap the Olympic with her identical twin, the Titanic. The film argues that the Titanic disaster was merely an insurance scam gone wrong and provides evidence indicating which ship is truly resting at the bottom of the ocean.
CGI bringing realism to ancient Romans - produced by Daniel Voshart, a designer from Canada.
"Using the neural-net tool Artbreeder, Photoshop and historical references, I have created photoreal portraits of Roman Emperors. For this project, I have transformed, or restored (cracks, noses, ears etc.) 800 images of busts to make the 54 emperors of The Principate (27 BC to 285 AD). Some emperors (latter dynasties, short reigns) did not have surviving busts. For this, I researched multiple coin depictions, family tree and birthplaces. Sometimes I created my own composites."

Orania (2018): A Crime Free Separatist State
Orania is a semi-autonomous Afrikaner town in the middle of South Africa. Anna Verwoerd, the daughter of Hendrik Verwoerd along with her husband bought the land and "founded" Orania around 1991. This 'state' does not seem to suffer from corruption and crime.
"Oranje" of course alludes to Orange, the national symbolic colour of the Dutch.
