China reportedly saved $10 billion in 2023 alone by purchasing discounted Iranian oil; the Chinese companies involved in these transactions generate significant revenue from this trade, which flows back to U.S. shareholders like BlackRock and Vanguard.

Maintaining an online persona may stroke your ego, but sharing information (no matter how seemingly innocuous) creates a permanent paper trail for adversaries to identify you.
While this has always been true, LLMs are a force multiplier in deanonymization efforts.
Reusing usernames, emails, and passwords is simply poor internet hygiene.

Consider a scenario increasingly common in INDOPACOM: a gray-zone incursion by an unidentified maritime vessel, operating in contested waters near the Philippine archipelago. A U.S. partner nation or allied command post is monitoring the area using Palantir’s battle management suite—receiving feeds from distributed sensors and maintaining geospatial awareness over a designated maritime security zone.
Upon detection of the vessel’s entry into this monitored zone, an adjacent SOF element—equipped with a Group 3 UAV, our Multi-INT V-BAT—launches to gain positive identification. Shield AI’s autonomy stack, Hivemind, powers the onboard intelligence, enabling the aircraft to operate in degraded GPS and comms environments, autonomously collect FMV and associated intelligence, and stream KLV metadata to ground systems in real time.
The sensor data is ingested directly into the Palantir Platform, where it is fused, visualized, and flagged for analysis. From there, operators use Target Workbench to review and triage the contact—tagging it, assigning confidence, and collaborating with upper echelons on potential courses of action. Once a course is selected, Hivemind enables the rapid execution of that decision, transforming intelligence into action by directing autonomous systems to track, monitor, or strike as needed.
This is not a futuristic concept. It’s a real, operationally relevant workflow that our teams at Shield AI and Palantir are enabling today—with fielded systems, mature autonomy, and extensible software frameworks that support rapid integration across the kill chain.

Fact: The KGB actually accuses anti-Soviet dissidents of being KGB agents.
Solzhenitsyn was a determined anti-Bolshevik activist and Russian dissident who exposed the Soviet gulag system over decades. He noted that the Soviets, not the Germans, were responsible for the mass graves in Ukraine, that the NKVD invented the gas trucks, and notably, he observed the same signs of a leftist takeover in America as in the USSR. Because of this, the crypto-Yiddish director of the KGB authorized a plan to smear him. KGB defector Mitrokhin stated that in 1974, the KGB prepared a plan to repress Solzhenitsyn’s anti-Soviet activities in the West. The plan emphasized the importance of separating Solzhenitsyn from his supporters and using their testimonies from interrogations against him. KGB chief Yuri Andropov approved this plan on September 19, 1974.
In 1975, the KGB devised a more detailed plan to control Solzhenitsyn’s activities. It called for KGB agents in the West to publish provocative materials suggesting he was an undercover KGB agent. This plan was prepared by the First, Second, and Fifth Chief Directorates of the KGB. In 1978, the German magazine "Neue Politik" published an article titled "Confessions of an agent 'Vetrov,'" also known as Solzhenitsyn, claiming that he had been an active KGB undercover agent. Well, the same game continues to this day—see the pattern, recognize the culprits, and remember: the true agenda is never what it seems.

When there will no longer be those who desire salvation, but those who have surrendered themselves completely to the service of evil and no longer want to even hear about the Lord, then the Divine Will will prosper, to bring about the end of this visible material world, which will not be destroyed, but will be transformed into fire by fire, like when the craftsman melts metal and from it pours and shapes the object he desires.
During the terrible events, the Lord will hide His faithful and despite the terrible persecutions, the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated secretly and the only prayer then will be: "Lord, come as soon as possible."
The Lord will not delay. He will come and transfer the earthly struggling church and unite it with the heavenly triumphant one, and the kingdom will have no end.

On 23 February 1944 under Soviet control, the extermination of the Vainakh people during "Operation Lentil" saw approximately
500,000 Chechens and Ingush packed into unheated cattle cars for a month-long journey to Central Asia. This mass ethnic cleansing was officially justified by the Soviet government as "collaboration," a claim starkly contradicted by the fact that nearly 40,000 Vainakh soldiers were serving in the Red Army compared to about 3,000 in North Caucasian German legions. In mountain regions where transport was deemed inefficient, Soviet forces carried out massacres, most notably in Khaibakh, where they burned 700 people alive in a barn, and in the villages of Targim, Gul, and Malkhisty, where hundreds of the sick and elderly were executed. Reflecting on this tragedy, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov stated: "This criminal order led to enormous suffering: thousands of people perished... Our people were condemned to this ordeal solely by the will of a ruthless regime," as reported by Caucasus Watch.

On February 23, 1918, the Bolshevik government received a German ultimatum. Beyond losing occupied lands, Russia had to renounce Poland and the Baltics, withdraw from Finland and the independent Ukrainian People’s Republic, sign peace with the Central Rada, cede parts of Transcaucasia to Turkey, and grant Germany duty-free exports.
Demands later expanded to include full military demobilization and 6 billion marks in reparations. Russia lost roughly 780,000 km² and 56 million people—nearly a third of its population. On March 3, the Bolsheviks signed the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, marking a crushing defeat that triggered civil war and imperial collapse.
Soviet authorities later rebranded this date of surrender as the "Birthday of the Red Army." While framed as a symbol of victory, historical archives confirm February 23 was actually the day the regime conceded to the ultimatum following military collapse.

The New York Times and other archives from February 1918 show maps of the territorial demands and the separate peace with the Ukrainian People's Republic. These maps illustrated the "Hoffmann Line," the boundary beyond which the Bolsheviks were forced to retreat. The Soviet invasion of Ukraine and the Baltics was driven by the goal of "World Revolution"—an attempt to spread Bolshevism across Europe. This military push was crushed by the German Operation Faustschlag in late February, forcing the Bolsheviks to sign the final treaty in March. A year later (January 1919), the Soviets supported the Spartacist Uprising in Berlin to trigger an internal German revolution; this was also crushed by the Freikorps.
