Modern architecture is not impressive; many buildings look the same, like plain boxes π¦.
In the past, buildings were attractive and unique, like beautiful historical landmarks and religious sites. These special places can't be replaced or moved.
Take the Taj Mahal, for example. It took 22 years to build, and it's so special that everyone dreams of seeing it. But nowadays, big buildings are put up in just 1 to 5 years, and they're everywhere. I call them ugly because they're so common.
There's a Greek saying that fits here: "A society becomes great when old people plant trees under whose shade they'll never sit."
In India, classic architecture is disappearing, and this cheap modern architecture is taking over. That's why I think most of it is rubbish.

The worst thing you can do to ruin your ability to concentrate and pay attention is to use a device like an Apple Watch or any smartwatch that's connected to your phone.
I've noticed that when people wear these watches, they tend to get distracted easily. Whenever they receive a notification on their phone, their watch vibrates, and they quickly check their phone.
