Must have:

• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with MongoDB
• Experience with cloud technologies
• Experience with integration with third-party systems and services
• Experience in creating client-server applications and RESTful services
• Good spoken English

Would be a plus:
• Knowledge of the popular machine learning algorithms
• Experience with JavaScript

It digitizes paper stock certificates along with stock options and warrants.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

We are building the global ownership management platform to consolidate company ownership data into one common electronic registry. The system is composed of microservices designed to serve features such as OCR, Watermarking, and full-text search. We support over 600,000 shareholders at more than 10,000 companies who manage over $400 billion. But this is just the beginning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively participate in the whole development process from initial design up to launching the product
• Be responsible for working with product managers, designers, and engineers to design, develop and deliver features
• Work within a team of developers and testers to complete proposed initiatives
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks
• Follow and contribute to agile development processes

REQUIREMENTS

• Production experience 3+ years
• Knowledge of Django
• Strong background in full-stack or back-end engineering with strong systems fundamentals
• Practice of working with service-oriented architecture and solutions with complex business logic
• Deep understanding of architecture and development of scalable production quality backend systems
• Practical knowledge of architecting complex SaaS products
• Experience working with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and build thoughtful solutions
• Excellent communication skills
• Bonus points for knowledge of JavaScript frameworks/libraries like React or Angular
