Our client - american startup building an amazing DevOps automation platform is looking for a Mid-Sr. NodeJS Developer to join their team and help them continue deliver features and improve the product.
What you'll do:
- Design and implement enhancements and new additions to our orchestration engine
- Design and implement a plugin-based module system for executing a wide variety of open IT automation tools, ranging from scripts in various programming languages to cloud orchestration templates to security automation tools
- Work with public cloud services including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform for use with our platform execution environment
- Design, implement, and refine NoSQL database models for the application
- Design and implement service-oriented back end web servers and daemons to perform business logic and data processing functions.
- Produce architecture diagrams and specifications in collaboration with a team
- Work with the business team and other lead engineers to translate business requirements into technical requirements
What we expect from you:
- 3+ years experience in software engineering, particularly in web application development
- 3+ years of solid experience with JavaScript
- Deep understanding of all intricacies of JavaScript
- 2+ years of NodeJS experience
- Experience with NoSQL
- Proficiency in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems
- Experience with web technologies including HTTP and TCP/IP network stacks
- Ability to lead new software initiatives from inception to completion
- English is a must (we don't expect you to speak like a native speaker, but you should be able to articulate your thoughts and be able to understand what you're being told)
Additional bonus:
- Experience with cloud platforms - AWS, GC, Azure
- Experience with delpoyment automation (CI/CD)
- You're comfortable with Linux
What we offer:
- 100% remote. Work from wherever you want or from our office at C-Space coworking in Tashkent or combine both
- salary range 15 000 000 to 20 000 000 so’m
- 5/2 work week. 8 hours a day
- prepare to communicate with the team either early in the morning or later evening Tashkent time (the company is in Washington state - 12 hours difference). You’re free to work on your code at whatever time you want.
- Slack, Zoom, JIRA
- work with a team of IT professionals with amazing experience
- participate in creation of a product that will be used by some of the biggest IT companies in Silicon Valley
