Work conditions and benefits:
•Salary ranges from $500 to $2000
•Monday to Friday 9:00-17:00
•Annual paid vacation for 48 working days

New Uzbekistan University is recruiting aspiring candidates for the position of Teaching Assistant. Candidates should hold Bachelor or Master’s degree from relevant fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Mechanical Engineering or other STEM areas. Also fluent English and relevant teaching experience are highly desired.
Candidate must possess following skills:
•Extensive knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript, Postgres, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
•Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.
•Good interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
•Good analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
•Good organizational and time management skills.
•Ability to work with little supervision.
•Ability to accept collegiate responsibilities and act accordingly
Key responsibilities:
•Preparing lecture slides, handouts, and adjacent instructional content.
•Delivering selected lessons, tutorials and laboratory assignments, as agreed upon beforehand.
•Uploading lecture slides and assigned readings to our virtual learning site.
•Processing applications for concessions, including deferments, extensions, and the waiving of course requirements.
•Grading, moderating, and returning scripts in a timely manner.
•Capturing coursework and examination results on our systems.
•Granting students' admission to the final examination when they have met stipulated prerequisites.
•Advising students on project ideas upon request.
