[MAHARLIKA INVESTMENT FUND SITUATIONER]
According to the discussion paper released by the faculty members of the University of the Philippines School of Economics (UPSE), the Maharlika Investment Fund “violates fundamental principles of economics and finance and poses serious risks to the economy and the public sector – notwithstanding its proponents’ good intentions.”
With this, the University Student Government stands vehemently against the enactment of Maharlika Investment Fund Law. Efficient allocation of resources which truly addresses the economic struggles of the people is what Filipinos, especially the marginalized sectors, need from its government.

According to ITS, freshman blocks and restricted classes are now available to enroll in. All students may proceed to enrolling in these classes. 🫶
Please be reminded that students can still enroll/enlist:
✔️ add classes
✔️drop classes
✔️swap classes
📌 Students may also continue adjusting (adding/dropping/swapping) and confirming their enrollment /classes until the online adjustment period September 9 (11:59 PM) with 100% refund
📆 The autodropping of students who are uncomfirmed will start at September 9 (11:59 PM) — If autodropped, you may still enroll in classes during our online special adjustment period
📌 Students may continue adjusting adding/dropping/swapping) classes during online special adjustment period September 11 (9:00 AM) to September 13 (8:00 PM) with 50% retention fee that will be charged for every course dropped or adjusted
