GS Mains question categorised and sorted by Sangram.
If you have followed first three weeks sincerely you must have got the confidence that this exam can be dealt with and cleared with systematic planning and understanding.
After 3 weeks of analysis, deep understanding of previous questions, making answer structure for PYQ, writing few answers everyday, revising and mugging up now u have fair idea about scope of upsc mains GS.
So its time to integrate this preparation with Essay paper.
Believe me, whatever you study, read, write and analyse for GS is sufficient to write great essays.
FOURTH WEEK
1.Continue PYQ answer writing, vision test paper question answer reading, making readymade intros conclusions flowcharts diagrams maps etc (and revising them) -> This should go on without fail.
2.Increase the number of GS answers written everyday to 12-13 (If u r confident start with timer, if u still need some time then write without time limit)
3.Now you should learn how to utilise the information you already know in multiple answers, single fact in various answers, a committee or its findings in answers, various reports, index (indices) etc in answers -> that is bringing authenticity to your answers via using credible sources (National & International level)
( https://youtu.be/lM3HhRAXfnE?si=EJLAiqxVaqmLbqi- ) - Watch this.
4. Essay - Already segregated theme wise in first week.
Take a theme like Health, Education, Agriculture, Society & social issues social justice, Values etc
Invest 2 hours per day per theme to make your own note of that particular theme (use already available material by various coaching institutes)
Make sure that you think from all perspectives and cover them all in the note
(Easiest way - Upsc syllabus- history , culture - society geo - polity - governance etc etc)
But prioritise them while actually writing the essay as per the topic.
5. compile topicwise simple anecdotes, examples, case studies, incidents etc to start your essay (use internet chatgpt etc)
6. Read few toppers essays to understand various styles of essay writing.
