#PostponeUPSCPrelims2025
I strongly support the call for postponing the UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exams scheduled on 25th May 2025, considering the escalating national security situation and widespread uncertainty caused by the ongoing conflict.
Many areas, particularly in states like Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and Gujarat, are facing disruptions, including blackouts and heightened security alerts. These challenges, coupled with internet restrictions, travel difficulties, and heightened stress levels, are significantly impacting the preparation of thousands of aspirants.
Several universities and colleges have already postponed their exams scheduled for May, acknowledging the need for a conducive environment for academic and competitive evaluations. It is crucial that the same consideration be extended to the UPSC Prelims, given its national importance and the need to ensure a fair and equitable opportunity for all candidates.
In light of these unprecedented circumstances, I earnestly request the #UPSC to postpone the Prelims exams scheduled on 25th May and announce a new date to alleviate the stress and uncertainty faced by aspirants nationwide.
