Tonight, Unsound New York 2023 includes a rare show by Leyland Kirby aka The Caretaker, who performs at the Geffen Hall, on the same program as Moor Mother.

With over one hundred million plays on Youtube alone, The Caretaker’s work is some of the most listened to experimental music of recent decades, spawning mini documentaries, homages and reworkings, as well as Caretaker communities on Discord and Reddit.

Each Caretaker show is a unique experience, made especially for the context in which it’s presented, including in New York City.
