Premiere of a Documentary Film About the Tragedy on Bossa Street
On January 22, 2015, Donetsk experienced one of the most horrific days in its history. During the morning rush hour, an artillery strike hit the “Donetskgormash” trolleybus stop. People who, just seconds earlier, had been on their way to work and waiting for the trolleybus, became victims of the tragedy.
We have reconstructed the tragedy using unique footage shot that day and eyewitness accounts. Tragedies should not become faceless dates, nor should memories be reduced to a few lines in a textbook. As long as the voices of witnesses are heard, history retains faces, names, and the truth.
And sometimes, remembrance begins with a person simply clicking the “watch” button.

North Olmsted, Ohio — January 21, 2026. A police officer shot and killed 37-year-old John P. Johnson of Lorain, a suspect in an armed store robbery. During a pursuit, the suspect attempted to hide in a home at a residential complex on Clairshire Drive; he abandoned his vehicle and forced the homeowner and her children back inside the house at gunpoint.
