โWhoever seeks companions whose circumstances and traits are all the same is seeking the impossible. In fact, if they were all alike, it could actually disrupt the balance of their relationshipโfor no single companion can be helpful in every situation, and those who are all shaped by the same disposition cannot manage every kind of task. It is through diversity that harmony is achieved.โ
๐๏ธShaykh สฟAbd al-Raแธฅmฤn al-Saสฟdฤซ said in Al-Qawฤสฟid al-แธคisฤn li-Tafsฤซr al-Qurสพฤn (p. 139):
ููุฑูุดูุฏู ูฑููููุฑูุขูู ูฑููููุฑููู ู ูฑููู ูุณูููู ูููู ุฅูููู ุฅูููุงู ูุฉู ุฌูู ููุนู ู ูุตูุงููุญูููู ูุ ููุฃูููููู ุฅูุฐูุง ููู ู ูููููู ุญูุตููููููุง ู ููู ูฑููุฌูู ููุนูุ ููููููุดูุชูุบููู ุจูููููู ู ูุตูููุญูุฉู ู ููู ู ูุตูุงููุญูููู ู ู ููู ููููุฏูุฑู ุนูููู ูฑููููููุงู ู ุจูููุงุ ูููููููููููุฑู ููููุชููู ุนูููููููุง ููุชููููู ู ู ูุตูุงููุญูููู ูุ ููุชูููููู ููุฌูููุชูููู ู ุฌูู ููุนูุง ููุงุญูุฏูุฉู.
The Noble Qur'an directs Muslims to establish all of their collective interests. And if it is not possible for everyone to carry them out together, then whoever is able should take charge of any given area of benefit and dedicate their time to it, so that the overall needs of the community are fulfilled and all efforts remain united in direction.

ููุจูููููุงู ู ููููู ุทูุงุฆูููุฉู ู ูููููู ู ุจูู ูุตูููุญูุฉู ู ููู ูฑููู ูุตูุงููุญู ุชููููู ู ูฑููู ูุตูุงููุญู ูููููููุงุ ููุฃูููู ููููู ููุฑูุฏู ู ูุฃูู ููุฑู ุฃููู ููุฑูุงุนููู ูฑููู ูุตูุงููุญู ูฑููููููููููุฉูุ ููููููููู ุณูุงุฆูุฑูุง ููู ุฌูู ููุนู ุฃูุนูู ูุงูููู ุฅูููููููุงุ ูููููู ููููููู ูฑููู ูุณูููู ูููู ููุณูููููู ูููฐุฐููู ูฑูุทููุฑูููู ูููฑุณูุชูููุงู ูุชู ุฃูุญูููุงููููู ูุ ููุตูููุญูุชู ุฃูู ููุฑูููู ูุ ูููฑููุฌูุงุจูุชู ุนูููููู ู ุดูุฑููุฑู ููุซููุฑูุฉู.
By each group taking responsibility for one area of concern, all collective needs are ultimately servedโbecause every individual is required to give regard to the greater communal benefit and aim all his efforts toward it. If Muslims were granted success in following this path, their conditions would become upright, their affairs would be rectified, and much harm would be lifted from them.
Al-Saสฟdฤซ, สฟAbd al-Raแธฅmฤn ibn Nฤแนฃir. Al-Qawฤสฟid al-แธคisฤn li-Tafsฤซr al-Qurสพฤn.

[The Fruits of Cooperation]
Allah the Exalted says:
{ู ูููู ูฑููู ูุคูู ูููููู ุฑูุฌูุงูู ุตูุฏููููุง ู ูุง ุนูุงููุฏููุง ูฑูููููู ุนููููููู ููู ูููููู ู ููู ููุถูููฐ ููุญูุจููู ููู ูููููู ู ููู ูููุชูุธูุฑู ููู ูุง ุจูุฏูููููุง ุชูุจูุฏููููุง} [ุงูุฃุญุฒุงุจ: ูขูฃ].
โAmong the believers are men who have been true to what they pledged to Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their vow, and some are still waiting. And they have not changed in the least.โ
โ Sลซrat al-Aแธฅzฤb, 23
๐๏ธAl-Saโdฤซ said in Wujลซb al-Taโฤwu bayna al Muslimฤซn:
ููุฐูุง ููุนูุชู ุฑูุฌูุงูู ูฑูุฏููููู: ูฑูุตููุฏููู ูฑููููุงู ููู ูููู ูุง ุนูุงููุฏููุง ูฑูููููู ุนูููููููุ ู ููู ูฑููููููุงู ู ุจูุฏููููููุ ููุฅูููููุงุถู ุฃูููููููุ ููููุตูุฑููู ุจูููููู ู ูุง ููููุฏูุฑูููู ุนูููููููุ ู ููู ู ูููุงูู ููู ูุงูู ููุจูุฏููู ููุธูุงููุฑู ููุจูุงุทููู
This is the description of the true men of religion: complete sincerity in fulfilling what they pledged to Allahโupholding His religion, uplifting its people, and supporting it with all they can offer: through word, wealth, physical effort, both outwardly and inwardly.
ููู ููู ููุตูููููู ู ูฑูุซููุจูุงุชู ูฑูุชููุงู ูู ุนูููู ูฑูุดููุฌูุงุนูุฉู ูููฑูุตููุจูุฑูุ ูููฑููู ูุถูููู ููู ููููู ููุณููููุฉู ุจูููุง ููุตูุฑู ูฑูุฏููููู.
Among their traits is unwavering steadfastness in courage and patience, and determination in pursuing every means by which the religion may be supported.
ููู ูููููู ู ูฑููุจูุงุฐููู ููููููุณูููุ ููู ูููููู ู ูฑููุจูุงุฐููู ููู ูุงููููุ ููู ูููููู ู ูฑููุญูุงุซูู ููุฅูุฎูููุงูููู ุนูููู ูฑููููููุงู ู ุจูููููู ู ูุณูุชูุทูุงุนู ู ููู ุดูุคูููู ูฑูุฏูููููุ ูููฑูุณููุงุนูู ุจูููููููู ู ุจููฑููููุตููุญูุฉู ูููฑูุชููุฃูููููู ูููฑูููฑุฌูุชูู ูุงุนูุ ููู ูููููู ู ูฑููู ูููุดููุทู ุจููููููููู ููุฌูุงูููู ููุญูุงููููุ ููู ูููููู ู ูฑููููุฐูู ูฑููุฌูุงู ูุนู ููุฐููฐูููู ููููููู.
Among them are those who give of their very lives, others who give of their wealth, others who urge their brothers to do all they can for the cause of the religion, and those who strive among the people with counsel, reconciliation, and unity. Some encourage others with their words, their influence, and their exampleโand some rare individuals combine all of these traits.
ูููููฐุคูููุงุกู ุฑูุฌูุงูู ูฑูุฏููููู ููุฎูููุงุฑู ูฑููู ูุณูููู ููููุ ุจูููู ู ููุงู ู ูฑูุฏููููู ููุจููู ููุงู ููุงุ ููููู ู ูฑููุฌูุจูุงูู ูฑูุฑููููุงุณูู ููู ุฅููู ูุงููููู ู ููุตูุจูุฑูููู ู ููุฌูููุงุฏูููู ูุ ููุง ููุฑูุฏููููู ู ุนููู ูููฐุฐูุง ูฑููู ูุทูููุจู ุฑูุงุฏููุ ููููุง ููุตูุฏููููู ู ุนููู ุณูููููู ุณูุจูููููู ุตูุงุฏููุ ุชูุชูููุงููููฐ ุนูููููููู ู ูฑููู ูุตูุงุฆูุจู ูููฑููููููุงุฑูุซูุ ููููุชููููููููููููุง ุจููููููุจู ุซูุงุจูุชูุฉูุ ููุตูุฏููุฑู ู ูููุดูุฑูุญูุฉูุ ููุนูููู ูููู ู ุจูู ูุง ููุชูุฑูุชููุจู ุนูููููฐ ุฐููฐูููู ู ููู ูฑููุฎูููุฑู ูููฑูุซููููุงุจู ูููฑููููููุงุญู ูููฑููููุฌูุงุญู.
These are the true men of religionโthe elite of the Muslims. Through them, the religion stands, and by the religion, they themselves are upheld. They are like mountains in their faith, patience, and struggle. Nothing deters them from their path; nothing turns them away from their pursuit. Calamities and disasters come upon them in succession, yet they receive them with firm hearts and open chests, knowing what reward, goodness, success, and triumph awaits them because of it.
Allah the Exalted says:

"ูุงู ูููุงูู:ุงุจููู ุณูุจุนู ุณูููู ุฑูุญุงูุชููุูุณูุจุนู ุณูููู ุฎุงุฏูู ููุูุฅุฐุง ุตุงุฑู ูู ุฃุฑุจุน ุนูุดุฑุฉ ุณูุฉูุูุฅู ูุง ุฃูู ููููู ุดุฑูููู ุฃู ูููู ุนูุฏููููู:
โIt used to be said: Your son is your beloved joy (lit., your sweet basil) for seven years, and your servant for seven years; then when he reaches fourteen years of age, he will either be your partner or your enemy:

โSome, influenced by Greek and Western philosophical thought and the so-called Enlightenment (which is, in reality, a period of darkness), claim that Islam is primarily a moral system rather than a religion founded upon creed, worship, and legislation.

This claim reflects ignorance of the true nature of Islam as Allah intended, the Islam that is the only path accepted by Him.

[The Recompense Matches the Deed โ in Concealing the Faults of Your Brothers and Thinking Well of Them]
The scholar of a broad array of Islamic sciences, สฟAbd al-Raแธฅmฤn ibn Nฤแนฃir al-Saสฟdฤซ (ุฑุญู ู ุงููู), said:
โููุจูุงููุฌูู ูููุฉูุ ููุงููููุงุฌูุจู ุนูููู ุฃููููู ุงููุนูููู ู ููุบูููุฑูููู ู ุงูุณููุนููู ููู ู ูุนูุฑูููุฉู ุงููุญููููุ ููุงููุงุฌูุชูููุงุฏู ููู ุชููููููุฐููู ููุงููุนูู ููู ุจูููุ ููุงูุชููุนูุงูููู ุนูููู ุฐูฐูููู.
โIn short, it is obligatory upon the people of knowledge and others to strive in seeking the truth, to exert effort in implementing it, to act upon it, and to cooperate in that.
ููุฃููู ููุญูุจูู ุฃูุญูุฏูููู ู ููุฃูุฎูููู ู ูุง ููุญูุจูู ููููููุณูููุ ุณูููุงุกู ููุงูููููู ุฃููู ุฎูุงููููููุ ููููู ูุง ุฃูููููู ุฅูุฐูุง ููููุนู ู ููููู ุฎูุทูุฃู ููุฒููููู ููู ู ููุญูุจูู ุงุทููููุงุนู ุฃูุญูุฏู ุนูููููููุ ุจููู ููุญูุฑูุตู ุนูููู ุณูุชูุฑู ููููุณูููุ ููููุฐูฐูููู ููููุจูุบูู ุฃููู ููููุฒูููู ุฃูุฎูุงูู ู ููููู ุจูููฐุฐููู ุงููู ูููุฒูููุฉู.
And that one should love for his brother what he loves for himself, whether he agrees with him or disagrees. Just as when a person makes a mistake or a slip, he does not wish for anyone to uncover it, rather he is keen to conceal his own faultsโso likewise, he should regard his brother in the same manner.

And he should interpret what comes from him in the best possible light. For the recompense is of the same kind as the deed. Whoever behaves with his brothers in this way, Allah will conceal his faults through means he knows and means he does not know, a concealment that is not granted to one who does not act in such a manner. As you judge, so shall you be judgedโa fitting recompense.โ

I say: How greatly we are in need of such precious advice and to be reminded of it. The need for the noble and encouraged Islamic concealment (sitr) and for holding good opinions of the people of faith and piety is truly vitalโand Allah is the One sought for help.

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both):
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
โWhoever goes to bed in a state of purity, an angel will spend the night under his garment. He does not wake up except that the angel says: โO Allah, forgive Your servant so-and-so, for he went to bed in a state of purity.โโ
Authentication:
Reported by Ibn Hibban in his Sahih, and Shaykh Al-Albani (may Allah have mercy on him) graded it as hasan li-ghayrihi (sound due to supporting chains).
Explanation of key terms:
โข โHis garmentโ (shiโฤr): With the shฤซn pronounced with a kasrah (i.e., shiโฤr), refers to whatever directly touches a personโs body, such as clothing, blanket, or sheet.
Benefits of the Hadith:
โข Encouragement to sleep in a state of purity (with wudooโ), as doing so brings about the companionship of an angel who continually supplicates for forgiveness throughout the night.
โข Highlights the virtue of maintaining wudooโ before sleep, due to the immense reward associated with it.
Important Note:
It is recommended (mustahabb) for a Muslim to go to sleep in a state of wudooโ. If one loses their wudooโ during sleep, the virtue remains, because the key is being pure at the time of falling asleep, not during the entire sleep.

โA tree must have roots, a trunk, branches, leaves, and fruit. Likewise is the tree of faith (ฤซmฤn) and Islam.
ููุนูุฑููููููุง: ุงููุนูููู ูุ ููุงููู ูุนูุฑูููุฉูุ ููุงูููููููููุ ููุณูุงููููุง: ุงููุฅูุฎูููุงุตูุ ููููุฑููุนูููุง: ุงููุฃูุนูู ูุงููุ ููุซูู ูุฑูุชูููุง: ู ูุง ุชููุฌูุจููู ุงููุฃูุนูู ูุงูู ุงูุตููุงููุญูุฉู ู ููู ุงููุขุซูุงุฑู ุงููุญูู ููุฏูุฉูุ ููุงูุตููููุงุชู ุงููู ูู ูุฏููุญูุฉูุ ููุงููุฃูุฎูููุงูู ุงูุฒูููููููุฉูุ ููุงูุณููู ูุชู ุงูุตููุงููุญูุ ููุงููููุฏููู**ุ ููุงูุฏููููู ุงููู ูุฑูุถูููู.
Its roots are knowledge, awareness, and certainty; its trunk is sincerity (ikhlฤแนฃ); its branches are righteous deeds; and its fruits are the beneficial effects that result from those deedsโpraiseworthy qualities, virtuous traits, noble character, upright demeanor, noble conduct (hady), and commendable bearing.

These are the signs that the tree has been planted in the heart and is firmly rooted therein.

So, if the knowledge is correct and conforms to the truth revealed by Allah, and the belief is in accordance with what Allah has informed about Himself and what His Messengers have conveyed from Him, and sincerity is firmly established in the heart, and the actions are in accordance with the divine command, and the demeanor, conduct, and appearance reflect and harmonize with these foundationsโthen it is known that the tree of faith in the heart has firm roots and lofty branches reaching the sky.
ููุฅูุฐูุง ููุงูู ุงููุฃูู ูุฑู ุจูุงููุนูููุณูุ ุนูููู ู ุฃูููู ุงููููุงุฆูู ู ุจูุงููููููุจู ุฅููููู ูุง ูููู ุงูุดููุฌูุฑูุฉู ุงููุฎูุจููุซูุฉู ุงูููุชูู ุงุฌูุชูุซููุชู ู ููู ูููููู ุงููุฃูุฑูุถูุ ู ูุง ููููุง ู ููู ููุฑูุงุฑู.ยป
But if the opposite is the case, then it is evident that what resides in the heart is none other than the wicked tree that has been uprooted from the surface of the earth and has no stability or foundation.โ
