Some wise men have said: "A person only feels discomfort in solitude because of the emptiness within themselves and the lack of virtue in their soul.
ููููุชูููุซููุฑู ุญููููุฆูุฐู ุจูู ูููุงููุงุฉู ุงููููุงุณู ููููุทูุฑูุฏู ุงููููุญูุดูุฉู ุนููู ููููุณูููุ ุจูุงูููููููู ู ูุนูููู ู
Thus, they seek to fill this void by interacting with others, driving away their loneliness by being in the company of people.
ููุฅูุฐูุง ููุงููุชู ุฐูุงุชููู ููุงุถูููุฉู ุทูููุจู ุงููููุญูุฏูุฉู ููููุณูุชูุนูููู ุจูููุง ุนูููู ุงููููููุฑูุฉู ููููุชูููุฑููุบู ููุงุณูุชูุฎูุฑูุงุฌู ุงููุญูููู ูุฉู.
However, if a person possesses virtue within themselves, they will seek solitude to aid in reflection and to devote themselves to the pursuit of wisdom."
ููููุงูู ุจูุนูุถูููู ู: ุงููุงุณูุชูุฆูููุงุณู ุจูุงููููุงุณู ู ููู ุนูููุงู ูุงุชู ุงููุฅูููููุงุณู.
And some of them said: "Finding comfort in the company of others is a sign of bankruptcy."

ููููุงูู ุจูุนูุถู ุงููุญูููู ูุงุกู: ุงูุดููุฑูู ููู ุงููููุงุณู ุทูุจูุงุนูุ ููุญูุจูู ุงููุฎูููุงูู ููููู ู ุนูุงุฏูุฉูุ ููุงููุฌูููุฑู ูููููู ู ุณููููุฉู
Some of the wise have said: "Evil is inherent in the nature of people, the love of differing is their norm, and injustice among them is a tradition.
ููููุฐููููู ุชูุฑูุงููู ู ููุคูุฐูููู ู ููู ููุง ููุคูุฐููููู ู ููููุธูููู ูููู ู ููู ููุง ููุธูููู ูููู ู ููููุฎูุงููููููู ู ููู ููููุตูุญูููู ู
For this reason, you see them harming those who do not harm them, wronging those who do not wrong them, and opposing those who advise them."โฆ

โฆAnd some of them said: "Among people, there are those who are perpetually obsessed with differing, to the extent that they believe the best course of action is never to agree with anyone, never to align with anyoneโs opinion, and never to unite with them in affection.
ููู ููู ููุงูู ููุฐูุง ุนูุงุฏูุชููู ููุฅูููููู ููุง ููุจูุตูุฑู ุงููุญูููู ููููุง ููููุตูุฑููู ููููุง ููุนูุชูููุฏููู ุฏููููุง ููู ูุฐูููุจูุง ุฅููููู ูุง ููุชูุนูุตููุจู ููุฑูุฃููููู ููููููุชูููู ู ููููููุณููู ููููุณูุนูู ููู ู ูุฑูุถูุงุชูููุง
Whoever has this habit will neither perceive the truth, support it, nor adopt it as a belief or doctrine. Instead, they are biased towards their own opinion, seeking vengeance for themselves, and striving to satisfy their own desires.
ุญูุชููู ุฅูููููู ูููู ุฑูู ูุชู ุฃููู ุชูุฑูุถูุงูู ููุชูููุฎููููุชู ุฃููู ุชูููุงูููููู ุนูููู ุงูุฑููุฃููู ุงูููุฐูู ููุฏูุนูููู ุฅููููููู ุชูุนูู ููุฏู ููุฎูููุงูููู ููููู ููููู ู ููุฑูุถู ุจููู ุญูุชููู ููููุชููููู ุฅูููู ูููููุถู ูููููููู ุงููุฃูููููู
Indeed, if you tried to please them and endeavored to agree with them on the opinion they were promoting, they would deliberately oppose you in that very matter and would not be satisfied until they shifted to the opposite of their first stance.
ููุฅููู ุนูุฏูุชู ููู ุฐููููู ุฅูููู ููููุงููู ุนูุงุฏู ุฅูููู ุฎูููุงูููู
If you then returned to agreeing with them, they would return to opposing you.
ููุงูู ุฃูุจูู ุณูููููู ูุงูู ููู ููู ููุงูู ุจูููุฐููู ุงููุญูุงูู ููุนููููููู ุจูู ูุจูุงุนูุฏูุชููู ููุงููููููุงุฑู ุนููู ููุฑูุจููู ููุฅูููู ุฑูุถูุงูู ุบูุงููุฉู ููุง ุชูุฏูุฑููู ููู ูุฏูู ุดูุฃููููู ููุง ููููุญููู
Abu Sulayman said: So, if someone is in such a state, you should distance yourself from them and avoid being near them, for their satisfaction is an unattainable goal, and the extent of their stubbornness cannot be matched."

ูุงูุธูุฑู ูู ูุฐู ุงูุทูุงุฆูุฉ ุฃุญูู ู ู ูููู ุญูููุ ูุฃุฒูู ู ู ูููู ุฒูููุ
โThe gracefulness found within this group (ie., the ascetic worshippers) is sweeter than any sweetness and more beautiful than any beauty.
ูู ุง ููุฑูู ุดูุกู ุฅูู ุดูุกู ุฃุญุณู ู ู ุธูุฑูู ุฅูู ุตุฏูู ูุฅุฎูุงุตูุ ูุณุฑูู ู ุน ุงููู ูุฌู ุนููุฉู ุนูููุ
Nothing has ever been paired together more perfectly than gracefulness with sincerity and devotion, and a secret relationship with Allah and a focused attachment to Him.
ููุฅูููู ุฃูููุซูุฑู ู ููู ุนููููู ุจูููุฐูุง ุงูุดููุฃููู ุชูุถูููู ููููุณููู ููุฃูุฎูููุงูููู ุนููู ุณูููู ู ูุง ูููู ุจูุตูุฏูุฏูููุ ููุชูุซููููู ููุทูุฃูุชููู ุนูููู ุฃููููููู ููุฌููููุณูููุ
Indeed, most of those who are deeply engaged in this spiritual endeavor find their spirits and manners discomforted by anything other than what they are focused on, making them burdensome to their family and companions.
ููููุถูู ููู ุนููููููู ุจูุจูุดูุฑูููุ ููุงูุชููุจูุณููุทู ุฅูููููููุ ููููููู ุงููุฌูุงููุจู ูููู. ููููุนูู ูุฑู ุงูููููู ุฅูููููู ููู ูุนูุฐููุฑูุ ููุฅููู ููู ู ูููููู ููู ุฐููููู ุจูู ูุดููููุฑูุ ููุฅูููู ุงููุฎููููู ูููููููู ู ุฃูุบูููุงุฑูุ ุฅููููุง ู ููู ุฃูุนูุงูููู ุนูููู ุดูุฃููููู ููุณูุงุนูุฏููู ุนูููู ู ูุทููููุจููู.
They may not extend cheerfulness, openness, and gentleness towards others. By Allah, they are excused for this, even if it does not earn them gratitude, for all of creation are distractions, except those who assist you in your spiritual pursuit and support you in achieving your objective.
ููุฅูุฐูุง ุชูู ูููููู ุงููุนูุจูุฏู ููู ุญูุงูููู ููุตูุงุฑู ูููู ุฅูููุจูุงูู ุนูููู ุงูููููู ููุฌูู ูุนููููุฉู ุนููููููู ู ูููููุฉู ููู ูููุงู ูุง ุฑูุงุณูุฎูุง ุฃูููุณู ุจูุงููุฎููููู ููุฃูููุณููุง ุจูููุ โ
But when a servant becomes firmly established in his spiritual state, attaining a steadfast and deep connection with Allah, he finds comfort in the company of others, and they in him.

He becomes open towards them, bearing with their weaknesses and their slow progress. As a result, hearts are drawn to love him for his kindness and gracefulness.
ููุฅูููู ุงููููุงุณู ููููููุฑูููู ู ููู ุงูุซููู ูููููู ุจูููุบู ููู ุงูุฏููููู ู ูุง ุจูููุบูุ ููููููููู ู ูุง ููุฌูููุจู ุงููููุทููู ููุงูุธููุฑููู ู ููู ุงูููููููุจูุ ููููุฏูููุนู ุนููู ุตูุงุญูุจููู ู ููู ุงูุดููุฑููุ ููููุณูููููู ูููู ู ูุง ุชูููุนููุฑู ุนูููู ุบูููุฑูููุ
People tend to avoid those who are burdensome, no matter how devout they may be. Indeed, the grace and charm that one displays can attract hearts and ward off harm, making things easy that would otherwise be difficult for others.
ููููููุณู ุงูุซููููููุงุกู ุจูุฎูููุงุตูู ุงููุฃูููููููุงุกูุ ููู ูุง ุซููููู ุฃูุญูุฏู ุนูููู ูููููุจู ุงูุตููุงุฏูููููู ุงููู ูุฎูููุตูููู ุฅููููุง ู ููู ุขููุฉู ููููุงููุ
The burdensome are not among the true friends of Allah, for no one becomes a burden on the hearts of the sincere and devoted except due to some affliction.
ููุฅููููุง ููููุฐููู ุงูุทููุฑูููู ุชูููุณูู ุงููุนูุจูุฏู ุญูููุงููุฉู ููููุทูุงููุฉู ููุธูุฑูููุงุ ููุชูุฑูู ุงูุตููุงุฏููู ูููููุง ู ููู ุฃูุญูููู ุงููููุงุณู ููุฃูููุทูููููู ู ููุฃูุธูุฑูููููู ูุ ููุฏู ุฒูุงููุชู ุนููููู ุซูููุงููุฉู ุงููููููุณู ููููุฏููุฑูุฉู ุงูุทููุจูุนูุ ููุตูุงุฑู ุฑููุญูุงูููููุง ุณูู ูุงุฆููููุง ุจูุนูุฏู ุฃููู ููุงูู ุญูููููุงูููููุง ุฃูุฑูุถููููุงุ
Otherwise, this path clothes the servant in sweetness, gentleness, and gracefulness. You will find the sincere among them to be the sweetest, most gentle, and most graceful of people. The heaviness of the ego and the roughness of temperament disappear from them, and they become spiritual and heavenly after having been earthly and animalistic.

You will find them to be the most honorable in companionship, the most lenient in nature, and the kindest in heart and spirit. This is the unique quality of love, for it refines, beautifies, and purifies.โ

"The foundational essence of faith, according to us, and its branchesโafter the testifying to Allahโs Oneness and the testifying to the Prophet (ุตูู ุงููู ุนููู ูุณูู ) conveying the message, and after fulfilling the obligatory dutiesโare truthfulness in speech, preserving trust, avoiding betrayal, fulfilling promises, maintaining ties of kinship, having goodwill for/giving sincere advice to all Muslims, and showing mercy to all people."
ููููู ูููู -ููุนูููู ููุถูููููุง- ููุฐูุง ู ููู ุฑูุฃููููู ุชูููููููู ุฃููู ุณูู ูุนูุชูููุ ููุงูู: ุจููู ุณูู ูุนูููุงูู ููุชูุนููููู ูููุงูู. ูููููู ููู ู ุขุฎูุฐููู ู ููู ุฃููููู ุงููููููู ููุงูููุถููู ููู ู ุฃูุชููููููู ู ุจููู.
He was askedโmeaning Fudaylโ'Is this something you say from your own opinion, or have you heard it?' He said: 'Rather, we have heard it and learned it. And if I had not taken it from the people of knowledge and virtue, I would not speak of it.โโ
Muโฤdh b. Asad, the narrator reporting this from Fuแธayl, said:
ููููุงููุชู ุณูุจูุนูุง ููููุณููุชู ููุงุญูุฏูุฉู.
"And they were seven matters, but I forgot one."

"Included in this matter are the worship and rulings that a believer is entrusted with by way of his faith, as well as his obligations regarding the rights of himself, his spouse, his child, his parents, and the rights of his Muslim brother, including giving assistance and initiating sincere advice, offering advice when consulted about his affairs, safeguarding something entrusted to him, or appointing a guardian over the wealth of an orphan or someone under guardianship. It also includes the rights of his slaves or his master if he himself is a slave, the rights entrusted to the ruler concerning the subjects, and the rights the subjects owe to the ruler. Fulfilling the trust in all of these matters is legislated."

"ููุงูููููู ุชูุนูุงููู ููู ููุง ุฃูุฑูุงุฏู ููุฑูุงู ูุชููู ููู ูููู ูููู ู ูุฑูุชูุจูุฉู ุงููู ูุญูููุฉู ููุงููุจูููููู ููููุตูุจูุฑู ููููููุงูู ุงูุฏููุฑูุฌูุฉู ุงูููุชูู ููุง ููุตููู ุฅูููููููุง ุฅููููุง ุนูููู ุญูุณูุจู ุงููุงุจูุชูููุงุกูุ ูููููู ููู ู ูููููู ููู ุฐููููู ุฅููููุง ุชูููู ูููู ููุฑูุญููู ููุณูุฑููุฑููู ุจูุงุฌูุชูู ูุงุนู ุดูู ููููู ุจูุญูุจููุจููู ุจูุนูุฏู ุงููููุฑูุงููุ
"When Allah, the Exalted, intended to bestow His honor upon him (i.e., Yaโqลซb ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) , He perfected for him the stage of trial and tribulation so that he would be patient and attain the level that can only be reached through trials. Even if the only outcome of that was the completion of his joy and happiness in reuniting with his beloved after separation [this alone would enough].
ููููุฐูุง ู ููู ููู ูุงูู ุฅูุญูุณูุงูู ุงูุฑููุจูู ุชูุนูุงููู ุฃููู ููุฐูููู ุนูุจูุฏููู ู ูุฑูุงุฑูุฉู ุงููููุณูุฑู ููุจููู ุญูููุงููุฉู ุงููุฌูุจูุฑูุ ููููุนูุฑูููููู ููุฏูุฑู ููุนูู ูุชููู ุนููููููู ุจูุฃููู ููุจูุชููููููู ุจูุถูุฏููููุงุ
This is from the perfection of the Lord's benevolence: He, the Exalted, lets His servant taste the bitterness of brokenness before the sweetness of restoration, and makes him appreciate His blessing upon him by testing him with its opposite.
ููู ูุง ุฃูููู ุณุจุญุงูู ูุชุนุงูู ููู ููุง ุฃูุฑูุงุฏู ุฃููู ููููู ูููู ููุขุฏูู ู ููุนููู ู ุงููุฌููููุฉู โุฃูุฐูุงูููู โู ูุฑูุงุฑูุฉู ุฎูุฑููุฌููู ู ูููููุงุ ููู ูููุงุณูุงุฉู ููุฐููู ุงูุฏููุงุฑู ุงููู ูู ูุฒููุฌู ุฑูุฎูุงุคูููุง ุจูุดูุฏููุชูููุงุ
Just as when Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He, wanted to perfect Adam's bliss in Paradise, He let him taste the bitterness of being expelled from it and the hardship of enduring this world, where ease is mixed with difficulty.
ููู ูุง ููุณูุฑู ุนูุจูุฏููู ุงููู ูุคูู ููู ุฅููููุง ููููุฌูุจูุฑูููุ ููููุง ู ูููุนููู ุฅููููุง ููููุนูุทูููููุ ููููุง ุงุจูุชูููุงูู ุฅููููุง ููููุนูุงููููููุ ููููุง ุฃูู ูุงุชููู ุฅููููุง ููููุญูููููููุ ููููุง ููุบููุตู ุนููููููู ุงูุฏููููููุง ุฅููููุง ููููุฑูุบููุจููู ููู ุงููุขุฎูุฑูุฉูุ ููููุง ุงุจูุชูููุงูู ุจูุฌูููุงุกู ุงููููุงุณู ุฅููููุง ููููุฑูุฏูููู ุฅููููููู".
Thus, He did not break His believing servant except to restore him, nor did He withhold from him except to give him, nor did He test him except to heal him, nor did He cause him to die except to bring him to life, nor did He make this world bitter for him except to make him long for the Hereafter, nor did He test him with people's harshness except to draw him back to Him."

Anas ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
(( ุฅูููู ู ููู ุงููููุงุณู ู ูููุงุชููุญู ููููุฎูููุฑู ู ูุบูุงููููู ูููุดููุฑูู ุ ููุฅูููู ู ููู ุงููููุงุณู ู ูููุงุชููุญู ูููุดููุฑูู ู ูุบูุงููููู ููููุฎูููุฑู ุ ููุทููุจูู ููู ููู ุฌูุนููู ุงูููููู ู ูููุงุชููุญู ุงููุฎูููุฑู ุนูููู ููุฏููููู ุ ูููููููู ููู ููู ุฌูุนููู ุงูููููู ู ูููุงุชููุญู ุงูุดููุฑูู ุนูููู ููุฏููููู ))
โIndeed, among people are those who are keys to goodness and locks to evil, and among people are those who are keys to evil and locks to goodness. So, glad tidings for the one whom Allah has made the keys to goodness at his hands, and woe to the one whom Allah has made the keys to evil at his hands.โ
Al-Saโdฤซ (ุฑุญู ู ุงููู) said (al Fawฤkih al-Shahiyah):
ุจูููุฐูุง ุงูููุฐูู ุฐูููุฑู ุงููู ูุตูุทูููู ุชููุฒููู ุงูุฑููุฌูุงููุ ููุจููู ููุนูุฑููู ุฃููููู ุงููููููุตู ู ููู ุฃููููู ุงููููู ูุงููุ ููููููููุง ุฑูุญูู ูููู ู ุงูููู ู ูููุงุชููุญู ููููุฎูููุฑูุ ู ูุบูุงููููู ูููุดููุฑูู ููุงููุขููุงุชู.
By what the Chosen One (the Prophet) mentioned, men are measured, and through it, the people of deficiency are distinguished from the people of wholeness. So be, may Allah have mercy on you, keys to goodness and locks to evil and calamities.

Whoever among you is sincere to Allah, bears goodwill and advises the servants of Allah, and strives for good to the best of his ability โ he is a key to goodness and has attained happiness. And whoever is the opposite of that is a lock to goodness and has indeed achieved misery.
ู ููู ุงููููุงุณู ู ููู ุฅูุฐูุง ุงุฌูุชูู ูุนูุชู ุจูููู ู ููู ู ูุฌูุงููุณูููู ูุ ุญูุฑูุตู ุนูููู ุฅูุดูุบูุงููููู ู ูููู ูุง ููููููุนูููู ู ููู ุฏููููููู ู ููุฏูููููุงููู ูุ ููู ูููููู ู ู ููู ููุดูุบูููููู ู ุจูู ูุง ููุถูุฑูู ููู ูุง ููุง ููุนููููุ ููููุฐูุง ููุฏู ุญูุฑูู ูููู ู ุงููุฎูููุฑู ููุฃูุดูููุงููู ู.
There are people who, when you gather with them in their gatherings, strive to engage others in what benefits them in their religion and worldly matters. And among them are those who engage others in what harms and does not concern them, thus depriving them of good and bringing them misery.
ููู ูููููู ู ู ููู ููุณูุนูู ููู ุชูููุฑููุจู ุงูููููููุจูุ ููุฌูู ูุนู ุงููููููู ูุฉู ููุงูุงุฆูุชูููุงููุ ููู ูููููู ู ู ููู ููุณูุนูู ููู ุฅูุซูุงุฑูุฉู ุงููููุชููู ููุงูุดููููุงูู ููุงูุชููููุงููุฑู ููุงููุฎูููุงูู.
Some strive to bring hearts closer, to foster a united word and harmony, while others strive to stir up discord, division, and conflict.
ููู ูููููู ู ู ููู ููุฌูุชูููุฏู ููู ููููุนู ู ูุง ููู ูููููุจูููู ู ู ููู ุงููุจูุบูุถูุงุกูุ ููู ูููููู ู ู ููู ููููููุจู ููู ูููููุจูููู ู ุงูุดููุญูููุงุกู.
Some exert efforts to remove hatred from people's hearts, while others ignite enmity within them.
ููู ูููููู ู ู ููู ููุญูุซูู ุนูููู ุงููุฌููุฏู ููุงููููุฑูู ู ููุงูุณููู ูุงุญูุฉูุ ููู ูููููู ู ู ููู ููุฏูุนูู ุฅูููู ุงููุจูุฎููู ููุงูุดููุญูู ููุงููููููุงุญูุฉู.
Some encourage generosity, kindness, and tolerance, while others call for stinginess, greed, and callousness.
ููู ูููููู ู ู ููู ููุชููููููุนู ููู ููุนููู ุงููู ูุนูุฑูููู ููู ุจูุฏููููู ูููููููููู ููู ูุงููููุ ููู ูููููู ู ู ููู ููุง ููุนูุฑููู ุงููู ูุนูุฑูููู ูููููู ูููููุ ููููุง ุชูุณูุฃููู ุนููู ุณููุกู ุญูุงูููู.
Some diversify in their acts of kindness through their bodies, words, and wealth, while others do not know kindness even in small amounts, so do not ask about the evil of their condition.

Some people's gatherings are filled with backbiting, tale-carrying, and personal attacks, while others distance themselves and their companions from such things.

Among them are those whose sight reminds you of Allah, and they assist people in obeying Allah through their words and overall condition, commanding them to fulfill their obligatory and recommended duties. And among them are those who discourage goodness, and their conditions are unsafe.

Sincerity, due-diligence research, verification, consultation, istikhฤrah and patience are important elements of a winning plan for major life or community decisions.
Ascertaining ability & shouldering responsibility are the evidence of intellect and bravery. When things are feasible, boldly move forward; if not, it is from courage and common sense to hold back.
Failing to plan is planning to fail. Before proceeding with major plans to better oneself, family, or broader community, we need to ask ourselves some very important questions about their legitimacy and feasibility, so as to build on a solid foundation and be spared from avoidable failures.
Below is some important advice I have personally benefited from for many years from Imam Ibn Al Qayyim (from Ighฤthah Al-Lahfฤn), he says (ุฑุญู ู ุงููู):
ููู ูุญูุงุณูุจูุฉู ุงููููููุณู ููููุนูุงูู: ููููุนู ููุจููู ุงููุนูู ูููุ ููููููุนู ุจูุนูุฏููู.
And there are two types of self-accountability: one before action, and one after it.
ููุฃูู ููุง ุงููููููุนู ุงููุฃูููููู: ูููููู ุฃููู ูููููู ุนูููุฏู ุฃูููููู ููู ููุชููู ููุฅูุฑูุงุฏูุชูููุ ููููุง ููุจูุงุฏูุฑู ุจูุงููุนูู ููู ุญูุชููู ููุชูุจูููููู ูููู ุฑูุฌูุญูุงูููู ุนูููู ุชูุฑููููู.
As for the first type, it is for one to pause at the beginning of his intention and desire, and not rush into action until it becomes clear to him that the action is more preferable than abandoning it.
ููุงูู ุงููุญูุณููู: ยซุฑูุญูู ู ุงูููู ุนูุจูุฏูุง ูููููู ุนูููุฏู ููู ููููุ ููุฅููู ููุงูู ููููููู ู ูุถููุ ููุฅููู ููุงูู ููุบูููุฑููู ุชูุฃูุฎููุฑูยป
Al-Hasan said: "May Allah have mercy on a servant who pauses at his intention; if it is for Allah, he proceeds, and if it is for something else, he refrains.โ
ููุดูุฑูุญู ููุฐูุง ุจูุนูุถูููู ูุ ููููุงูู: ุฅูุฐูุง ุชูุญูุฑููููุชู ุงููููููุณู ููุนูู ููู ู ููู ุงููุฃูุนูู ูุงูู ููููู ูู ุจููู ุงููุนูุจูุฏู ูููููู ุฃููููููุงุ ููููุธูุฑู: ูููู ุฐููููู ุงููุนูู ููู ู ูููุฏููุฑู ูููู ุฃูู ู ุบูููุฑู ู ูููุฏููุฑู ููููุง ู ูุณูุชูุทูุงุนูุ
One of them explained this, saying: When the soul stirs for an action and a person intends it, he should first pause and reflect: Is this action within his capacity, or is it beyond his ability and impossible?
ููุฅููู ููู ู ูููููู ู ูููุฏููุฑูุง ููู ู ููููุฏูู ู ุนูููููููุ ููุฅููู ููุงูู ู ูููุฏููุฑูุง ูููููู ููููููุฉู ุฃูุฎูุฑูู ููููุธูุฑู: ูููู ููุนููููู ุฎูููุฑู ู ููู ุชูุฑูููููุ ุฃููู ุชูุฑููููู ุฎูููุฑู ู ููู ููุนูููููุ
If it is beyond his capacity, he should not proceed with it. If it is within his capacity, he should pause again and consider: Is doing it better than leaving it, or is leaving it better than doing it?
ููุฅููู ููุงูู ุงูุซููุงููู ุชูุฑููููู ููููู ู ููููุฏูู ู ุนูููููููุ ููุฅููู ููุงูู ุงููุฃูููููู ูููููู ููููููุฉู ุซูุงููุซูุฉูุ ููููุธูุฑู: ูููู ุงููุจูุงุนูุซู ุนููููููู ุฅูุฑูุงุฏูุฉู ููุฌููู ุงูููู ููุซูููุงุจูููุ ุฃูู ู ุฅูุฑูุงุฏูุฉู ุงููุฌูุงูู ููุงูุซููููุงุกู ููุงููู ูุงูู ู ููู ุงููู ูุฎููููููุ
If the latter is true, he should abandon it and not proceed with it. If the former is true, he should pause a third time and consider: Is his motivation for it the desire for the pleasure of Allah and His reward, or is it for status, praise, or wealth from the creation?
ููุฅููู ููุงูู ุงูุซููุงููู ููู ู ููููุฏูู ู ุนููููููู ููุฅููู ุฃูููุถูู ุจููู ุฅูููู ู ูุทููููุจูููุ ููุฆููููุง ุชูุนูุชูุงุฏู ุงููููููุณู ุงูุดููุฑูููุ ููููุฎูููู ุนูููููููุง ุงููุนูู ููู ููุบูููุฑู ุงููููุ ููุจูููุฏูุฑู ู ูุง ููุฎูููู ุนูููููููุง ุฐููููู ููุซููููู ุนูููููููุง ุงููุนูู ููู ูููููููุ ุญูุชููู ููุตููุฑู ุฃูุซููููู ุดูููุกู ุนูููููููุงุ
If it is the latter, he should not proceed with it, even if it leads to his desired outcome, so that his soul does not become accustomed to associating others with Allah in worship. For as the soul becomes more inclined to work for others, it becomes heavier for it to work for Allah until such work becomes the most burdensome thing for it.
ููุฅููู ููุงูู ุงููุฃูููููู ูููููู ููููููุฉู ุฃูุฎูุฑููุ ููููุธูุฑู: ูููู ูููู ู ูุนูุงูู ุนูููููููุ ูููููู ุฃูุนูููุงูู ููุณูุงุนูุฏูููููู ููููููุตูุฑูููููู ุฅูุฐูุง ููุงูู ุงููุนูู ููู ู ูุญูุชูุงุฌูุง ุฅูููู ุฐูููููุ ุฃูู ู ููุงุ
If his intention is for Allah, he should pause again and consider: Does he have help and support for it, particularly if the action requires such assistance?

If he doesnโt have helpers, he should refrain, just as the Prophet (๏ทบ) refrained from jihad in Makkah until he gained strength and supporters. But if he finds that he has help and is supported, then he is likely to be successful.
ููููุง ูููููุชู ุงููููุฌูุงุญู ุฅููููุง ู ููู ููููุงุชู ุฎูุตูููุฉู ู ููู ููุฐููู ุงููุฎูุตูุงููุ ููุฅููููุง ููู ูุนู ุงุฌูุชูู ูุงุนูููุง ููุง ูููููุชููู ุงููููุฌูุงุญู.
Success is only lost due to the absence of one of these qualities, and with all of them combined, success will not escape him.
ููููุฐููู ุฃูุฑูุจูุนู ู ูููุงู ูุงุชูุ ููุญูุชูุงุฌู ุฅูููู ู ูุญูุงุณูุจูุฉู ููููุณููู ุนูููููููุง ููุจููู ุงููููุนูููุ
These are four stages where one needs to hold oneself accountable before taking action.
ููููุง ููููู ู ูุง ููุฑููุฏู ุงููุนูุจูุฏู ููุนููููู ููููููู ู ูููุฏููุฑูุง ููููุ
(1.) Not everything a servant desires to do is within his capacity.
ููููุง ููููู ู ูุง ููููููู ู ูููุฏููุฑูุง ูููู ููููููู ููุนููููู ุฎูููุฑูุง ูููู ู ููู ุชูุฑูููููุ
(2.) Not everything within his capacity to do is better to do than not.
ููููุง ููููู ู ูุง ููููููู ููุนููููู ุฎูููุฑูุง ูููู ู ููู ุชูุฑููููู ููููุนููููู ูููููููุ
(3.) Not everything that is better to do than not is done for Allah.
ููููุง ููููู ู ูุง ููููุนููููู ููููููู ููููููู ู ูุนูุงููุง ุนูููููููุ
(4.) Not everything done for Allah is done with the necessary support.
ููุฅูุฐูุง ุญูุงุณูุจู ููููุณููู ุนูููู ุฐููููู ุชูุจูููููู ูููู ู ูุง ููููุฏูู ู ุนูููููููุ ููู ูุง ููุญูุฌูู ู ุนููููู. ููููููููุฏูู ู ุนููููููู.
By holding oneself accountable for these considerations, it becomes clear what to proceed with and what to refrain from, affter which, one may proceed.โ
