๐๐ [Donโt Forget To Arm Yourself with Duโฤ When Leaving Home]
1๏ธโฃ Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood, and others from Anas ibn Malik (ุฑุถู ุงููู ุนูู): The Prophet (ุตูู ุงููู ุนููู ูุณูู
) said: "If a man leaves his house and says:
ุจูุณูู ู ุงููููุ ุชููููููููุชู ุนูููู ุงููููุ ูุงู ุญููููู ูููุงู ูููููุฉู ุฅููุงูู ุจูุงููููุ
'In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, there is no power and no strength except with Allah,' it will be said to him at that moment: 'You are guided, sufficed, and protected.' Then the devil will move away from him, and another devil will say: 'How can you deal with a man who has been guided, sufficed, and protected?'"
2๏ธโฃ It is confirmed in the Sunan of Abu Dawood, Ibn Majah, and others from Umm Salamah (ุฑุถู ุงููู ุนููุง), she said: "The Prophet (ุตูู ุงููู ุนููู ูุณูู
) never left my house without raising his gaze to the sky and saying:
"ุงููููููู ูู ุฅูููู ุฃูุนููุฐู ุจููู ุฃููู ุฃูุถูููู ุฃููู ุฃูุถููููุ ุฃููู ุฃูุฒูููู ุฃููู ุฃูุฒููููุ ุฃููู ุฃูุธูููู ู ุฃููู ุฃูุธูููู ูุ ุฃููู ุฃูุฌููููู ุฃููู ููุฌููููู ุนูููู".
'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from going astray or being led astray, from slipping or being caused to slip, from oppressing or being oppressed, and from behaving ignorantly or being treated ignorantly.'"
๐๏ธ Sh โAbd al-Razzฤq al Badr:
ููู ุชุฃู ูููุชู ูุฐุง ุงูุฏุนุงุก ููุฌุฏุชู ุฃูููู ู ูุงููู ููุญุฏูุซ ุงูุณุงุจู ูู ุงูุบุงูุฉ ูุงูู ูุตูุฏุ
โIf you reflect on this supplication, you will find that it aligns with the previous hadith in its purpose and intent.
ููููู ูู ุงูุญุฏูุซ ุงูุณุงุจู: "ูุฏูุช" ู ูุงููู ููููู ูู ูุฐุง ุงูุญุฏูุซ: "ุงููููููู ูู ุฅูููู ุฃูุนููุฐู ุจููู ุฃููู ุฃูุถูููู ุฃููู ุฃูุถูููู"ุ
His statement in the previous hadith: "You are guided" corresponds to his saying in this hadith: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from going astray or being led astray."

His statement: "sufficed" corresponds to his saying: "from oppressing or being oppressed."

And his statement: "protected" corresponds to his saying: "from slipping or being caused to slip, or behaving ignorantly or being treated ignorantly."
ููููู ุงูุนุจุฏู ุจุฐูู ู ุชุนูููุฐุงู ุจุงููู ู ูู ููุง ููุจุนุฏู ู ู ุงููุฏุงูุฉ ูุงูููุงูุฉ ูุงูููุงูุฉุ ููุง ุจุฃุณ ูู ุฃููู ุงูุนุจุฏู ุฌู ุน ุจูู ูุฐูู ุงูุฏุนุงุกูู.
Thus, the servant would be seeking refuge in Allah from what distances him from guidance, sufficiency, and protection. It is acceptable for the servant to combine both of these supplications.โ

๐ [Resist Being Pushed Forward (& Self-Promotion)]
When a young person excels in learning they must resist the pressure of being pushed forward prematurely & engaging in self-promotion. What is needed for oneself and needed to meet peopleโs needs & expectations are vastly different things.
๐๏ธMalik ibn Dinar (ุฑุญู ู ุงููู) said:
"ู ููู ุทูููุจู ุงููุนูููู ู ููููููุณููู ููุงููููููููู ู ููููู ูููููููุ ููู ููู ุทูููุจู ุงููุนูููู ู ููุญูููุงุฆูุฌู ุงููููุงุณู ููุญูููุงุฆูุฌู ุงููููุงุณู ููุซููุฑูุฉู".
"Whoever seeks knowledge for himself, a little of it suffices him, and whoever seeks knowledge for the needs of the people, the needs of the people are many."
[โAl-Zuhd by Imam Ahmad (p. 390)]
Meaning that mandatory knowledge for the average Muslim consists of learning the basics of: (1.) the pillars of Eman; (2.) mandatory acts of worship; (3.) the rights of people, including basic laws of lawful earning & spending; & (4.) clearly forbidden acts, specifically the major sins.
๐However, meeting the needs of people ideally requires rudimentary proficiency in:
๐ the Arabic language & its core sciences;
๐ memorizing much or all)of the Quran w/ good recitation;
๐ memorizing many essential Hadith;
๐ the Fundamentals (Usul) of Tafsฤซr & study of the main books of Tafsฤซr;
๐ the science of Hadith along w/ core books of Hadith & Shuruh (explanation);
๐ the creed of the Salaf in detail;
๐ Fiqh (laws of worship, marriage, divorce, custody, business transactions, arbitrating disputes, etc.), its Fundamentals (Usul), its principles (Al Qawaโid), its primary objectives/wisdoms (Al Maqฤsid);
๐ the states of the heart & moral character (Al-sulลซk);
๐ & many subsidiary subject matters stemming from these main subjects such as the Prophetic Sฤซrah, the proofs of prophethood (dalaโil al-nubuwwah), the beauty of Islam (al Mahฤsin), the etiquettes of research & debate (Adab al Bahth wal-Munฤdharah), Islamic history (Al-Tฤrฤซkh), to name a few.
The more one knows what substantive knowledge actually is, the more they realize they know almost nothing. This emphasizes the dire need to resist being pushed forward:
๐๏ธAbu Hanifah (ุฑุญู ู ุงููู) said:
ู ููู ุทูููุจู ุงูุฑููููุงุณูุฉู ุจูุงููุนูููู ู ููุจููู ุฃูููุงูููู ููู ู ููุฒููู ููู ุฐูููู ู ูุง ุจูููููุ
"Whoever seeks leadership with knowledge before its time will remain in humiliation as long as he lives."
๐๏ธSufyan al-Thawrฤซ (ุฑุญู ู ุงููู) said:
ู ููู ุชูุฑูุฃููุณู ููู ุญูุฏูุงุซูุชููู ููุงูู ุฃูุฏูููู ุนููููุจูุชููู ุฃููู ูููููุชููู ุญูุธูู ููุจููุฑู ู ููู ุงููุนูููู ู.
โWhoever assumes leadership in his youth, his least punishment is missing out on a significant portion of knowledge.โ
๐๏ธAl-Shafi'i (ุฑุญู ู ุงููู) said:
ุฅูุฐูุง ุชูุตูุฏููุฑู ุงููุญูุฏูุซู ููุงุชููู ุนูููู ู ููุซููุฑู.
When a young person takes a leading position, he misses out on much knowledge.
๐๏ธIbn Mas'ud (ุฑุถู ุงููู ุนูู) reportedly said:
ยซููุง ููุฒูุงูู ุงููููุงุณู ุจูุฎูููุฑู ู ูุง ุฃูุฎูุฐููุง ุงููุนูููู ู ุนููู ุฃูููุงุจูุฑูููู ู ููุฃูู ูููุงุฆูููู ู ููุนูููู ูุงุฆูููู ูยป
"People will remain in a good state as they take knowledge from their elders, their trustworthy ones, and their scholars."
๐๏ธImam Ibn Qutaybah (ุฑุญู ู ุงููู) commented:
ยซููุฃูููู ุงูุดููููุฎู ููุฏู ุฒูุงููุชู ุนููููู ู ูุชูุนูุฉู ุงูุดููุจูุงุจู ููุญูุฏููุชููู ููุนูุฌูููุชููู ููุณูููููููุ ููุงุณูุชูุตูุญูุจู ุงูุชููุฌูุฑูุจูุฉู ููุงููุฎูุจูุฑูุฉูุ
"Because the elder has lost the impulsiveness, haste, and foolishness of youth, and he has gained experience and knowledge.
ููููุง ููุฏูุฎููู ุนููููููู ููู ุนูููู ููู ุงูุดููุจูููุฉูุ ููููุง ููุบูููุจู ุนููููููู ุงูููููููุ ููููุง ููู ูููู ุจููู ุงูุทููู ูุนูุ ููููุง ููุณูุชูุฒูููููู ุงูุดููููุทูุงูู ุงุณูุชูุฒูููุงูู ุงููุญูุฏูุซูุ
No doubt enters his knowledge, nor does desire dominate him, nor does greed sway him, nor does Satan mislead him as he misleads the young.
ููู ูุนู ุงูุณููููู ุงููููููุงุฑู ููุงููุฌูููุงููุฉู ููุงููููููุจูุฉูุ ููุงููุญูุฏูุซู ููุฏู ุชูุฏูุฎููู ุนููููููู ููุฐููู ุงูุฃูู ููุฑู ุงูููุชูู ุฃู ูููุชู ุนูููู ุงูุดููููุฎูุ ููุฅูุฐูุง ุฏูุฎูููุชู ุนููููููู ููุฃูููุชูู ูููููู ููุฃูููููููยป.
With age comes respectability, dignity, and reverence. The young person, however, may be affected by these things that the elder is safe from. If he is affected by them and gives legal opinions, he destroys himself and others."

๐Imam Muhammad Al Amฤซn Al-Shinqฤซtฤซ (ุฑุญู ู ุงููู) said, commenting on the hadฤซth:
โุฅูููู ู ูู ููุง ุฃูุฏูุฑููู ุงููููุงุณู ู ููู ููููุงู ู ุงููููุจููููุฉู: ุฅูุฐูุง ููู ู ุชูุณูุชูุญู ููุงุตูููุนู ู ูุง ุชูุดูุงุกูโ.
โIndeed, among what has reached people from the words of (early) prophets is: If you feel no shame, then do as you wish.โ
๐๏ธHe says:
ุฃููู ุฅูููู ุงููุญูููุงุกู ูููููู ู ููู ุฃูุฎูุตูู ุงููุฃูุฎูููุงูู ุณูููุงุฌู ู ููู ุงูุฑููุฐูุงุฆูููุ
This means that modesty, which is one of the most exceptional traits, is a barrier against vices.
ููููุฐูุง ู ูู ููุง ููุคููููุฏู ุฃูููู ุงููุฎููููู ุงููุญูุณููู ููุญูู ููู ุนูููู ุงููููุถูุงุฆูููุ ููููู ูููุนู ู ููู ุงูุฑููุฐูุงุฆูููุ ููู ูุง ููููู ููู ุฐููููู:
This confirms that good character leads to virtues and prevents vices, as it is said in this regard:
ุฅูููู ุงููููุฑููู ู ุฅูุฐูุง ุชูู ูููููู ู ููู ุฃูุฐูู *** ุฌูุงุกูุชููู ุฃูุฎูููุงูู ุงููููุฑูุงู ู ููุฃูููููุนูุง
Indeed, the noble, when he is capable of harm***His noble character makes him desist
ููุชูุฑูู ุงููููุฆููู ู ุฅูุฐูุง ุชูู ูููููู ู ููู ุฃูุฐูู *** ููุทูุบูู ููููุง ููุจูููู ููุตูููุญู ู ูููุถูุนูุง
And you see the ignoble, when he is capable of harm***He tyrannizes and leaves no room for reconciliation.โ

"And this hour is the last hour after Asr, revered by all people of different faiths."
ยซุฃูุตูุงุจู ุงููุนูู ูู ุงูุตููููุชู ุจููู ุจูุณูุทูุงู ูุ ููุฌูููุณู ุฅูุฎูููุงูููู ููุฏูุนูููู ูููู ุนูุตูุฑู ุงููุฌูู ูุนูุฉูุ ููููุจููู ุงููุบูุฑููุจู ุนูุทูุณู ุนูุทูุณูุฉูุ ููุฑูุฌูุนู ุจูุตูุฑูููยป.

ููููููุชู ุฃูุฎูุจูุฑููู ุฃูููู ุณููููุฏูููุง ุดูููุฎู ุงููุฅูุณูููุงู ู ุชูููููู ุงูุฏููููู ุฃูุจูุง ุงููุนูุจููุงุณู ุฃูุญูู ูุฏู ุจููู ุชูููู ููููุฉู -ุฃููููุฏููู ุงูููููู ููุฃูุญูุณููู ุฅููููููู- ุฃูููุตูุงููู ู ูุฑููุฉู ููู ุณูููุฉู ุซูููุงุซู ููุณูุจูุนูู ูุงุฆูุฉูุ ููุตููููุฉู ุจููููุบูุฉู ุญูููุธูุชู ู ูููููุง ูููููููู:
โAnd I have told you before that our mentor, Shaykh al-Islam Taqi al-Din Abu al-Abbas Ahmad ibn Taymiyyah โ may Allah support him and be kind to him โ once advised me in the year seven hundred and three, with an eloquent advice, of which I remembered his saying:
ููุง ุชูููุตูุฏู ุฑูุถูุง ุงููููุงุณู ุจูุฃูููููุงูููู ููููุง ุฃูููุนูุงูููู:
Do not seek the pleasure of people with your words or actions, for the pleasure of people is an unattainable goal.
ููุฅูููู ุฑูุถูุง ุงููููุงุณู ุบูุงููุฉู ููุง ุชูุฏูุฑูููุ ุงููููููู ู ุฅููู ุชูุฑูุถู ุงููููุงุณู ููุดูููุฑููููุ ููููู ุบูููุฑู ุชูุณูุฎุทูููู ู ููุฐูู ูููููุ
Today, if you please people, they will thank you, and at other times they will blame you when you displease them.
ุงููููุถูู ุนูู ูุฑููู ุจููููู ุดูููุฑูููู ู ููุฐูู ููููู ู ููููุง ุญููููููุฉู ููุฃูุญูุฏูููู ูุงุ
Your life will pass between their praise and blame, and neither are real.
ุจููู ุฅูุฐูุง ุนูุฑูุถู ูููู ุฃูู ูุฑู ููููู ุทูุงุนูุฉู ุงูููู ุฃูููุฏูู ู ุนููููููู ูููููู ุฃูููู ููู ููุจูุงููุชููู ุฃูููููุง ููุฐูู ูููููููุ ููุฅูููู ุงูููู ุชูุนูุงููู ููููููููู ุดูุฑููููู ูุ
Rather, if something comes to you that involves obedience to Allah, proceed with it, even if there are a thousand who criticize you for it, for Allah will protect you from their evil.
ุนูู ูููุง ุจูู ูุง ุซูุจูุชู ุนููู ุนูุงุฆูุดูุฉู ุฑูุถููู ุงูููู ุนูููููุง ููููุฏู ุฑููููู ู ููููููููุง ููู ูุฑููููุนูุง ุฅูููู ุงููููุจูููู -ุตููููู ุงูููู ุนููููููู ููุณููููู ู- ุฃูููููู ููุงูู:
Do so acting according to what is established from Aisha (ุฑุถู ุงููู ุนููุง) and it has been narrated both as a mawquf and a marfuโ report to the Prophet (๏ทบ) that he said:
ยซู ููู ุฃูุฑูุถูู ุงูููู ุจูุณูุฎูุทู ุงููููุงุณู ููููุงูู ู ูุฆููููุฉู ุงููููุงุณูยป
"Whoever seeks Allah's pleasure by displeasing people, Allah will suffice him against people's harm.โ
ููุฅูุฐูุง ุนูุฑูุถู ูููู ุฃูู ูุฑู ููููู ู ูุนูุตูููุฉู ุงุญูุฐูุฑู ุซูู ูู ุงุญูุฐูุฑู ุฃููู ุชูููุฏูู ู ุนููููููู ูููููู ุฃูููู ููู ููุจูุงููุชููู ุฃูููููุง ููุดูููุฑููููููุ ููุฅูููู ุงูููู ุชูุนูุงููู ููุณููููุทูููู ู ุนูููููููุ
And if something comes to you that involves disobedience, beware, then beware of proceeding with it, even if there are a thousand who thank you for it, for Allah will impose them upon you.
ุนูู ูููุง ุจููููููููู -ุตููููู ุงูููู ุนููููููู ููุณููููู ู-: ยซู ููู ุฃูุฑูุถูู ุงููููุงุณู ุจูุณูุฎูุทู ุงูููู ุนูุงุฏู ุญูุงู ูุฏููู ู ููู ุงููููุงุณู ุฐูุงู ููุงยป ููููู ููููุธู ยซูููููููู ุงูููู ุฅูููููููู ู ููููู ู ููุบููููุง ุนููููู ู ููู ุงูููู ุดูููุฆูุงยป.
Do so acting according to his saying (๏ทบ): "Whoever seeks to please people by displeasing Allah, the one who praised him among people will turn into a blamer" and in another version "Allah will entrust him to them and they will not avail him of anything against Allah.โ
ููููููุฏู ููุฌูุฏูุชู -ููุงูููู- ููู ู ูุฏููุฉู ุงููุนูู ูุฑู ููููุฐููู ุงููููุตููููุฉู ุซูู ูุฑูุงุชู ุนูุฌููุจูุฉู.
And by Allah, I have found in the course of my life amazing fruits of this advice.

"ูููููููู ูุง ุงุฒูุฏูุงุฏู ุงููููููุจู ุญูุจููุง ููููููู ุงุฒูุฏูุงุฏู ูููู ุนูุจููุฏููููุฉูุ ูููููููู ูุง ุงุฒูุฏูุงุฏู ูููู ุนูุจููุฏููููุฉู ุงุฒูุฏูุงุฏู ูููู ุญูุจููุง ููููุถูููููู ุนูู ููุง ุณูููุงูู.
โSo, the more the heart increases in love for Allah, the more it increases in servitude to Him; and the more it increases in servitude to Him, the more it increases in love for Him and prefers Him over anything else.
ููุงููููููุจู ูููููุฑู ุจูุงูุฐููุงุชู ุฅูููู ุงูููููู ู ููู ููุฌููููููู: ู ููู ุฌูููุฉู ุงููุนูุจูุงุฏูุฉู ูููููู ุงููุนููููุฉู ุงููุบูุงุฆููููุฉู ููู ููู ุฌูููุฉู ุงููุงุณูุชูุนูุงููุฉู ููุงูุชููููููููู ูููููู ุงููุนููููุฉู ุงููููุงุนูููุฉู.
The heart is inherently in need of Allah in two ways: in terms of worship, which is the ultimate purpose, and in terms of seeking help and reliance, which is the effective cause.
ููุงููููููุจู ููุง ููุตูููุญู ููููุง ููููููุญู ููููุง ููููุนูู ู ููููุง ููุณูุฑูู ููููุง ููููุชูุฐูู ููููุง ููุทููุจู ููููุง ููุณููููู ููููุง ููุทูู ูุฆูููู ุฅููููุง ุจูุนูุจูุงุฏูุฉู ุฑูุจูููู ููุญูุจูููู ููุงููุฅูููุงุจูุฉู ุฅูููููููุ
The heart does not become sound, successful, happy, joyful, delighted, pure, tranquil, or at peace except through worshiping its Lord, loving Him, and turning to Him in repentance.
ูููููู ุญูุตููู ูููู ููููู ู ูุง ููููุชูุฐูู ุจููู ู ููู ุงููู ูุฎููููููุงุชู ููู ู ููุทูู ูุฆูููู ููููู ู ููุณูููููุ ุฅูุฐู ููููู ููููุฑู ุฐูุงุชูููู ุฅูููู ุฑูุจูููู ู ููู ุญูููุซู ูููู ู ูุนูุจููุฏููู ููู ูุญูุจููุจููู ููู ูุทููููุจูููุ
Even if it were to attain everything it desires from created things, it would not find tranquility or peace, for it has an inherent need for its Lord in terms of Him being its object of worship, its beloved, and its sought-after.
ููุจูุฐููููู ููุญูุตููู ูููู ุงููููุฑูุญู ููุงูุณููุฑููุฑู ููุงููููุฐููุฉู ููุงููููุนูู ูุฉู ููุงูุณููููููู ููุงูุทููู ูุฃููููููุฉู.
Through this, it attains joy, happiness, delight, blessing, tranquility, and peace.
ููููุฐูุง ููุง ููุญูุตููู ูููู ุฅููููุง ุจูุฅูุนูุงููุฉู ุงูููู ูููู ููุฅูููููู ููุง ููููุฏูุฑู ุนูููู ุชูุญูุตูููู ุฐููููู ูููู ุฅููููุง ุงูููู ูููููู ุฏูุงุฆูู ูุง ู ูููุชูููุฑู ุฅูููู ุญููููููุฉู {ุฅููููุงูู ููุนูุจูุฏู ููุฅููููุงูู ููุณูุชูุนูููู}.
And this is not achieved for him except with Allah's assistance, for he is unable to attain that except through Allah. He is always in need of the essence of "You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help."
ููุฅูููููู ูููู ุฃูุนูููู ุนูููู ุญูุตูููู ููููู ู ูุง ููุญูุจูููู ููููุทูููุจููู ููููุดูุชูููููู ููููุฑููุฏููู ููููู ู ููุญูุตููู ูููู ุนูุจูุงุฏูุฉู ุงูููู ูููููู ููุญูุตููู ุฅููููุง ุนูููู ุงููุฃูููู ู ููุงููุญูุณูุฑูุฉู ููุงููุนูุฐูุงุจู
For if he were to be aided in obtaining everything he loves, seeks, desires, and wants, and did not achieve the worship of Allah, he would only attain pain, regret, and torment.
ูููููู ููุฎูููุตู ู ููู ุขูุงู ู ุงูุฏููููููุง ููููููุฏู ุนูููุดูููุง ุฅููููุง ุจูุฅูุฎูููุงุตู ุงููุญูุจูู ููููููู ุจูุญูููุซู ููููููู ุงูููู ูููู ุบูุงููุฉู ู ูุฑูุงุฏููู ููููููุงููุฉู ู ูููุตููุฏููู ูููููู ุงููู ูุญูุจููุจู ูููู ุจูุงููููุตูุฏู ุงููุฃููููููุ
He will not be free from the pains of this world and its hardships except by sincerely loving Allah, such that Allah becomes the ultimate aim of his desires and his end goal, and He is the one truly loved by him.
ููููููู ู ูุง ุณูููุงูู ุฅููููู ูุง ููุญูุจูููู ููุฃูุฌูููููุ ููุง ููุญูุจูู ุดูููุฆูุง ููุฐูุงุชููู ุฅููููุง ุงูููู.
Everything else he loves only for Allah's sake, not loving anything for its own sake except Allah.
ููู ูุชูู ููู ู ููุญูุตููู ูููู ููุฐูุง ููู ู ูููููู ููุฏู ุญูููููู ุญููููููุฉู (ููุง ุฅููููู ุฅููููุง ุงูููู)ุ ููููุง ุญูููููู ุงูุชููููุญููุฏู ููุงููุนูุจููุฏููููุฉู ููุงููู ูุญูุจููุฉู ูููููููุ
If he does not achieve this, he has not actualized the true meaning of "There is no true god (worthy of worship) but Allah," nor has he actualized true monotheism, servitude, and love for Allah.
ููููุงูู ููููู ู ููู ููููุตู ุงูุชููููุญููุฏู ููุงููุฅููู ูุงูู ุจููู ู ููู ุงููุฃูููู ู ููุงููุญูุณูุฑูุฉู ููุงููุนูุฐูุงุจู ุจูุญูุณูุจู ุฐููููู.
Consequently, he will experience a deficiency in monotheism and faith, and accordingly will experience pain, regret, and torment.โ

๐๏ธThe great scholar and historian, Taqฤซ al-Dฤซn al Maqrฤซzฤซ (d. 845 AH ุฑุญู ู ุงููู), said:
ููุฅูููู ุงูุชููููุญููุฏู ุญููููููุชููู: ุฃููู ุชูุฑูู ุงููุฃูู ููุฑู ูููููููุง ู ููู ุงูููููู - ุชูุนูุงููู - ุฑูุคูููุฉู ุชูููุทูุนู ุงููุงููุชูููุงุชู ุฅูููู ุงููุฃูุณูุจูุงุจู ููุงููููุณูุงุฆูุทูุ ููููุง ุชูุฑูู ุงููุฎูููุฑู ููุงูุดููุฑูู ุฅููููุง ู ููููู ุชูุนูุงูููุ
โFor the essence of Tawheed (monotheism) is: to see all matters as being from Allah - the Exalted - in a way that cuts off paying attention to causes and intermediaries, so you see neither good nor bad except coming from Him, the Exalted.
ููููุฐูุง ุงููู ูููุงู ู ููุซูู ูุฑู ุงูุชูููููููููุ ููุชูุฑููู ุดูููุงููุฉู ุงููุฎูููููุ ููุชูุฑููู ููููู ูููู ูุ ููุงูุฑููุถูุง ุนููู ุงูููููู - ุชูุนูุงููู -ุ ููุงูุชููุณููููู ู ููุญูููู ููู.
And this vantage point yields trust in Allah, abandonment of complaining to people, abandonment of blaming them, contentment with Allah - the Exalted -, and submission to His decree.โ
๐The above statement of Al Maqrฤซzฤซ demonstrates the powerful connection between sound Islamic beliefs and oneโs entire worldview ๐ and personal conduct.
The true believer ignores superficial causes or obsessing over human involvement in what one is tested with of ease or hardship:
๐๏ธIbn Masโลซd (ุฑุถู ุงููู ุนูู) reportedly said:
ู ููู ุงูููููููู ุฃูู ูุง ุชูุฑูุถููู ุงููููุงุณู ุจูุณูุฎูุทู ุงููููููุ ูููุง ุชูุญูู ูุฏู ุฃูุญูุฏูุง ุนูููู ุฑูุฒููู ุงููููููุ ูููุง ุชููููู ู ุฃูุญูุฏูุง ุนูููู ู ูุง ููู ู ููุคูุชููู ุงููููููุ
โFrom certainty is that you do not seek to please people by incurring Allahโs displeasure, nor praise anyone for the sustenance provided by Allah, nor blame anyone for what Allah has not granted you.
ููุฅูููู ุฑูุฒููู ุงูููููู ูุง ููุณูููููู ุญูุฑูุตู ุญูุฑููุตู ูููุง ููุฑูุฏูููู ููุฑูุงููุฉู ููุงุฑููู.
For certainly Allah's sustenance is not brought forth by the eagerness of the eager, nor is it turned away by the dislike of the disliker.
ููุฅูููู ุงูููููู ุจูููุณูุทููู ููุญูููู ููู ููุนูุฏููููู ุฌูุนููู ุงูุฑููููุญู ููุงูููุฑูุญู ููู ุงูููููููู ููุงูุฑููุถููุ ููุฌูุนููู ุงูููู ูู ููุงูุญูุฒููู ููู ุงูุดููููู ููุงูุณููุฎูุทู.
Indeed, Allah, by His justice, forbearance, and fairness, has placed relief and joy in certainty and contentment, and placed worry and sorrow in doubt and displeasure.โ

ุฑูุจูู ุฃูุนููููู ููููุง ุชูุนููู ุนููููููุ ูููฑููุตูุฑูููู ููููุง ุชูููุตูุฑู ุนููููููุ ูููฑู ูููุฑู ููู ููููุง ุชูู ูููุฑู ุนููููููุ ูููฑููุฏูููู ููููุณููุฑู ูฑููููุฏูู ูููุ ูููฑููุตูุฑูููู ุนูููููฐ ู ูู ุจูุบูููฐ ุนููููููุ
'O Lord, assist me and do not assist against me; grant me victory and do not grant victory over me; plan for me and do not plan against me; guide me and make guidance easy for me; grant me victory over those who transgress against me.
ูฑููููููู ูู ูฑุฌูุนูููููู ูููู ุดูุงููุฑูุงุ ูููู ุฐูุงููุฑูุงุ ูููู ุฑูุงููุจูุงุ ูููู ู ูุทููุงุนูุงุ ูููู ู ูุฎูุจูุชูุงุ ุฅููููููู ุฃููููุงููุง ู ูููููุจูุงุ
O Allah, make me grateful to You, make me constantly remembering You, make me fearful of You, make me obedient to You, make me humble before You, make me often returning to You.
ุฑูุจูู ุชูููุจูููู ุชูููุจูุชููุ ูููฑุบูุณููู ุญูููุจูุชููุ ููุฃูุฌูุจู ุฏูุนูููุชููุ ููุซูุจููุชู ุญูุฌููุชููุ ูููฑููุฏู ููููุจููุ ููุณูุฏููุฏู ููุณูุงูููุ ูููฑุณููููู ุณูุฎููู ูุฉู ุตูุฏูุฑูู
O my Lord, accept my repentance, wash away my sins, respond to my supplication, establish my proof, guide my heart, make my tongue truthful, and remove the malice from my heart.'"
[Reported by Abu Dawood, al-Tirmidhi, and Ibn Majah, and authenticated by al-Albani in Sahih Sunan Abi Dawood (1/414)].
๐ Sh. โAbd al-Razzฤq al Badr (ุญูุธู ุงููู) explains:
"ููุฐูุง ูฑูุฏููุนูุงุกู ูฑููุนูุธููู ู ูฑุดูุชูู ููู ุนูููููฐ ูฑุซููููููู ููุนูุดูุฑูููู ุณูุคูุงููุง ููู ูุทูููุจูุงุ ูููู ู ููู ุฃูููู ูู ู ูุทูุงููุจู ูฑููุนูุจูุฏู ููุฃูุณูุจูุงุจู ุตูููุงุญููู ููุณูุนูุงุฏูุชููู ููู ูฑูุฏููููููุง ููููู ูฑููุขุฎูุฑูุฉู.
โThis magnificent supplication contains twenty-two requests and goals, which are among the most important for a servant and the reasons for his righteousness and happiness in this world and the Hereafter.

Ibn al Qayyim (ุฑุญู ู ุงููู) explains how the person who doesnโt make their singular focus one of serving Allah in pursuit of the hereafter will become a plaything of Shaytan, condemned to live as a slave of the world and people; he says:
ุฅูุฐูุง ุฃูุตูุจูุญู ุงููุนูุจูุฏู ููุฃูู ูุณูู ููููููุณู ููู ูููู ุฅููููุง ุงูููู ููุญูุฏูููุ ุชูุญูู ูููู ุงูููู ุณูุจูุญูุงูููู ุญูููุงุฆูุฌููู ูููููููุงุ ููุญูู ููู ุนููููู ููููู ู ูุง ุฃูููู ููููุ ููููุฑููุบู ููููุจููู ููู ูุญูุจููุชูููุ ููููุณูุงูููู ููุฐูููุฑูููุ ููุฌูููุงุฑูุญููู ููุทูุงุนูุชููู.
โIf a servant begins his day and ends it with no concern but Allah alone, Allah, the Almighty, will take care of all his needs and carry all his worries, freeing his heart for His love, his tongue for His remembrance, and his limbs for His obedience.
ููุฅููู ุฃูุตูุจูุญู ููุฃูู ูุณูู ููุงูุฏููููููุง ููู ููููุ ุญูู ูููููู ุงูููู ููู ููู ูููุง ููุบูู ููู ูููุง ููุฃูููููุงุฏูููุง ููููููููููู ุฅูููู ููููุณูููุ ููุดูุบููู ููููุจููู ุนููู ู ูุญูุจููุชููู ุจูู ูุญูุจููุฉู ุงููุฎูููููุ ููููุณูุงูููู ุนููู ุฐูููุฑููู ุจูุฐูููุฑูููู ูุ ููุฌูููุงุฑูุญููู ุนููู ุทูุงุนูุชููู ุจูุฎูุฏูู ูุชูููู ู ููุฃูุดูุบูุงููููู ูุ
But if he begins and ends his day with the world as his concern, Allah will burden him with its worries, sorrows, and difficulties and leave him to himself, occupying his heart with the love of creation instead of the love of Allah, his tongue with their remembrance instead of Allahโs remembrance, and his limbs with their service and tasks instead of obedience to Allah.
ูููููู ููููุฏูุญู ููุฏูุญู ุงููููุญูุดู ููู ุฎูุฏูู ูุฉู ุบูููุฑูููุ ููุงูููููุฑู ููููููุฎู ุจูุทููููู ููููุนูุตูุฑู ุฃูุถูููุงุนููู ููู ููููุนู ุบูููุฑููู.
Thus, he labors like a beast in the service of others, like the bellows that blow its belly and crush its ribs for the benefit of others.
ููููููู ู ููู ุฃูุนูุฑูุถู ุนููู ุนูุจููุฏููููุฉู ุงูููู ููุทูุงุนูุชููู ููู ูุญูุจููุชูููุ ุจููููู ุจูุนูุจููุฏููููุฉู ุงููู ูุฎูููููู ููู ูุญูุจููุชููู ููุฎูุฏูู ูุชููู. ููุงูู ุชูุนูุงููู: "ููู ูู ููุนูุดู ุนูู ุฐูููุฑู ุงูุฑููุญูู ูููฐูู ูููููููุถู ูููู ุดูููุทูุงูุงู ูููููู ูููู ููุฑูููู".
Whoever turns away from servitude, obedience, and love of Allah, will be afflicted with servitude, love, and service of creation. Allah the Exalted said: "And whoever turns away from the remembrance of the Most Merciful, We appoint for him a devil, and he is to him a companion."

๐ ๐ Beautiful Benefit: Why Itโs Best to Complain to Allah About Yourself, the Real Source of Your Problems!
Imam Ibn Al Qayyim (d. 751 AH ุฑุญู ู ุงููู) said:
"ุงูุฌูุงูููู ููุดูููู ุงูููู ุฅูููู ุงููููุงุณูุ ููููุฐูุง ุบูุงููุฉู ุงูุฌููููู ุจูุงูู ูุดูููููู ููุงูู ูุดูููููู ุฅูููููููุ ููุฅูููููู ูููู ุนูุฑููู ุฑูุจูููู ููู ูุง ุดูููุงููุ ูููููู ุนูุฑููู ุงููููุงุณู ููู ูุง ุดูููุง ุฅูููููููู ู.
โThe ignorant person complains about Allah to people, and this is the epitome of ignorance about the One complained about and the one complained to; for if he knew his Lord, he would not complain about Him, and if he knew the people, he would not complain to them.
ููุฑูุฃูู ุจูุนูุถู ุงูุณูููููู ุฑูุฌูููุง ููุดูููู ุฅูููู ุฑูุฌููู ููุงููุชููู ููุถูุฑููุฑูุชูููุ ููููุงูู: ููุง ููุฐูุง! ููุงูููู ู ูุง ุฒูุฏูุชู ุนูููู ุฃููู ุดูููููุชู ู ููู ููุฑูุญูู ููู ุฅูููู ู ููู ููุง ููุฑูุญูู ููู. ููููู ุฐููููู ููููู:
One of the Salaf saw a man complaining to another man about his poverty and need, and he said: O you! By Allah, you havenโt accomplished anything more than complaining about the One who is merciful to you to someone who does not have mercy on you. It is said in this regard:
ููุฅูุฐูุง ุดูููููุชู ุฅูููู ุงุจููู ุขุฏูู ู ุฅููููู ูุง ... ุชูุดูููู ุงูุฑููุญููู ู ุฅูููู ุงูููุฐูู ููุง ููุฑูุญูู ู
And if you complain to the son of Adam, you are ... complaining about the Merciful to the one who does not have mercy
ููุงูุนูุงุฑููู ุฅููููู ูุง ููุดูููู ุฅูููู ุงูููู ููุญูุฏููู.
And the knower (of Allah) only complains to Allah alone.
ููุฃูุนูุฑููู ุงูุนูุงุฑูููููู ู ููู ุฌูุนููู ุดูููููุงูู ุฅูููู ุงูููู ู ููู ููููุณููู ููุง ู ููู ุงููููุงุณูุ ูููููู ููุดูููู ู ููู ู ููุฌูุจูุงุชู ุชูุณููููุทู ุงููููุงุณู ุนูููููููุ
The most knowledgeable of the knowers is the one who makes his complaint to Allah about himself, not about people; for (by doing so) he complains about the causes that lead to people dominating him.

He does this reflecting on the words of Allah the Exalted: "And whatever strikes you of disaster - it is for what your hands have earned" [Ash-Shura: 30], and His saying: "And whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned" [An-Nisa: 79], and His statement: "And when disaster struck you, although you had struck with one twice as great, you said, 'From where is this?' Say, 'It is from yourselves'" [Aal Imran: 165].
ููุงูู ูุฑูุงุชูุจู ุซูููุงุซูุฉู: ุฃูุฎูุณููููุง: ุฃููู ุชูุดููููู ุงูููู ุฅูููู ุฎูููููููุ ููุฃูุนูููุงููุง: ุฃููู ุชูุดููููู ููููุณููู ุฅูููููููุ ููุฃูููุณูุทูููุง: ุฃููู ุชูุดููููู ุฎููููููู ุฅููููููู".
Thus, the levels are three: the lowest is to complain about Allah to His creation, the highest is to complain about yourself to Him, and the intermediate is to complain about His creation to Him.โ
๐ Al Fawฤโid

โWhoever gives respite to an insolvent person, he will have charity double to it for each day.โ
I said: I heard you, O Messenger of Allah, say: โWhoever gives respite to an insolvent person, he will have charity equal to it for each day
Then I heard you say: Whoever gives respite to an insolvent person, he will have charity double for each dayโ
He (๏ทบ) said:
ูููู ุจูููููู ููููู ู ุตูุฏูููุฉู ููุจููู ุฃููู ููุญูููู ุงูุฏูููููู ููุฅูุฐูุง ุญูููู ุงูุฏูููููู ููุฃูููุธูุฑููู ูููููู ุจูููููู ููููู ู ู ูุซููููููู ุตูุฏูููุฉู"
โHe will have charity for each day before the debt becomes due, and when the debt becomes due and he gives respite, he will have double charity for each day."
[Reported by Ahmad and Ibn Mฤjah; graded Sahih by Al Albฤnฤซ in As-Silsilah As-Saheehah" (86)]
He sought a debtor who hid from him, then he found him and he said, "I am insolvent." He said, "By Allah?" He said, "By Allah."
He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (๏ทบ) say:
"ู ููู ุณูุฑูููู ุฃููู ููููุฌููููู ุงูููููู ู ููู ููุฑูุจู ููููู ู ุงููููููุงู ูุฉู ูููููููููููุณู ุนููู ู ูุนูุณูุฑู ุฃููู ููุถูุนู ุนููููู"
โWhoever is pleased that Allah saves him from the distress of the Day of Resurrection, let him give respite to an insolvent person or reduce his debt."
[Saheeh At-Targhib Wat-Tarheeb (903)]
In summary, these two hadฤซth demonstrate a few amazing rewards connected to loaning money:
1๏ธโฃ For every day between the loan and the set date for its repayment, the lender is rewarded its amount in charity.
2๏ธโฃIf the debtor is insolvent (due to difficult circumstances), the lender is rewarded twice its amount for every day that he waits for repayment.
3๏ธโฃ By relieving the debt by giving extra time, lessening its amount or forgiving the debt, the lender will be spared from distress on the day of Judgment.

๐ฅ I am astonished to see some current celebrities and PhD holders, who have lessons in Hadith and explanations of Al-Bukhari, and claim that they call to the Book and the Sunnah, and they have the harshest and most piercing words against the Rafidah (Shia), yet they ally with the Muslim Brotherhood or the Tablighi Jamaat.
