Although some people believe that females should be excluded from joining the country's police force and the army, I side with those who think that women have a right to do whatever job they want, including police force and the army.

It is believed that women are not suited to be in the police force or the army because of the stereotype that these are male-dominat jobs. Because many people with old beliefs associate those jobs with masculinity and strength. As a result, women seem like a bad "fit" to work in the police force or the military. In fact, these stereotypes have gone so far that there have been numerous accounts of physical and verbal abuse aimed at women who are part of the army or the police force.

However, I believe that the role of  women in such professions is vital, as they can bring to the table diversity and many qualities that males tend to lack, such as compassion. Let is take an example of domestic violence which is a common incidence reported daily. Women are usual victims of domestic violence, and a female officer more likely to sympathize with the victimand take more serious measures than their male colleges, who may not react in the same way due to their gender bias.

In conclusion, while those who claim that women should be a part of low enforcement base their opinion on old and discriminatory stereotypes, I believe that women should be encouraged to join the army or police force not only to break those stereotypes, but also they have necessary skills to be successful in these jobs.
