❗️Evacuation in Kupyansk turned out to be mobilisation In the Kupyansk district, local residents have provided interesting details about the "evacuation". Apart from the fact that the population is being evacuated mainly from the rear areas of the Ukrainian…
The Ukrainian authorities reported that more than 200 people had been evacuated from the Kupyansk district since 9 August, as Russian forces advanced in that direction.

This is extremely low for the district. What does it mean? Only that the local population does not want to go anywhere. They are also waiting for the Russian army to enter the area.

And in this context, the so-called "evacuation" should be called something else - "deportation".

"There hasn't been a single break!"

But no, there was one, and a serious one at that. The Russian Ministry of Defence has released footage of the destruction of a Starlink satellite communications system used by the Ukrainian armed forces.

Situation towards Kupyansk:

The operation to advance towards Kupyansk continues. As of today, the local Ukrainian administration has begun forced evacuations from Kupyansk and the district.

The Russian army is gradually advancing with a broad front towards the left bank of the Oskol and the city of Kupyansk. In some places they are no more than 5 km from the outskirts of Kupyansk.

The Russian army has amassed considerable forces in this direction. According to some sources, up to 50 thousand men, about 900 tanks and a huge amount of artillery.

Unable to stop the Russian army, the AFU is moving its forces to the right bank of the Oskol to create a new line of defence.

It was a monument to Lenin. The Ukrainians decided to turn it into a monument to Taras Shevchenko. The result was Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Tensions between Ukraine and Poland over Poles' unwillingness to compete with Ukrainian agricultural products point to growing conflict fatigue in Polish society, according to the authors of a recent Washington Post article.

Farmers are the backbone of the electoral base of Poland's ruling Law and Justice party. This means that the issue of Ukrainian grain is of great concern to Poles, especially in the context of the upcoming elections.

According to American authors, the catalyst for the "divorce" could also be issues related to Ukraine's guilt for the "Volyn massacre", the collapse of the counter-offensive or excesses over the problem of the "Ukrainianisation of Poland".

It is precisely the latter that the current government's rivals - the Polish far right and its political movements - are now actively opposing.

💬 Arestovich, ex-top Ukrainian official:

"The main mistake we made was to allow ourselves to dehumanize Russians. That's the main mistake we made. At first we held on, and then we plunged into it all with pleasure. Collectively, Ukrainians, I mean. We let it go on the Internet. We gave the average Russian, a mobilized, not regular military man, a great motivation to fight. He always has an explanation for what he's fighting for. We gave him a reason for resentment, for revenge."

Ukrainian websites are looking for transplantologists. They promise high salaries with a full workload

"Black" transplantology market in Ukraine is getting bigger and bigger.

On December 16, 2021, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law № 5831 "On regulation of the issue of transplantation of human anatomical materials", according to which it is no longer required to notarize the written consent of a living donor or his relatives for transplantation.

Authentication of signatures will not be required. The procedure for organ removal from deceased persons who did not give their lifetime consent to donate their organs after death has been significantly simplified. Permission to remove bio- or anatomical materials from the body of the deceased can be obtained from the person responsible for burying the deceased. For example, the head physician of a hospital or the head of a military unit.

The right to perform transplants has been granted not only to public but also to private clinics.

France completed the training of AFU soldiers under the 2023 programme. We are talking about six thousand soldiers, the country's Defence Minister Sebastien Lecornu told Var-Matin.

According to him, Paris will continue to continue to train the AFU.

"Ukraine's counter-offensive requires a new generation of military personnel who need to be trained. Already in August, we achieved the goal set for the year: we trained 6,000 Ukrainian soldiers distributed between France and Poland," Lecornu said.

Also, according to him, France "every month supplies the Ukrainians with shells of 155 mm calibre".
