Are teachers really underpaid?
The answer is more complicated than you might think
For the 2023–24 school year, the average public school teacher salary was just under $70,000—well over the average for bachelor's degree graduates ages 25 to 34 (though many teachers have master's degrees)
West Virginia paid teachers the least, at around $52,000 per year, while California paid them the most, with an average salary of over $95,000. According to the National Education Association, teacher salaries top out at over $100,000 in 16.6% of districts. However, salaries have generally stagnated. From 2002 to 2020, inflation-adjusted teacher salaries declined by 0.6% while as per-pupil spending increased
The reality is that teacher salaries vary widely between states and districts, especially when looking at pay adjusted for the cost of living, making it difficult to make generalizations. Adding
to the murkiness, pay doesn't seem to motivate teachers as much as many people think

Mathematical Models Are Weapons of Mass Destruction
While during the financial crisis, misuse of mathematical models brought mostly economic damage, during the epidemic it was no longer just about money. Based on nonsensical models, all kinds of “measures” were taken that damaged many people’s mental or physical health
Nevertheless, this global loss of judgment had one positive effect: The awareness of the potential harm of mathematical modelling spread from a few academic offices to wide public circles. While a few years ago the concept of a “mathematical model” was shrouded in religious reverence, after three years of the epidemic, public trust in the ability of “experts” to predict anything went to zero
Moreover, it wasn’t just the models that failed – a large part of the academic and scientific community also failed. Instead of promoting a cautious and sceptical evidence-based approach, they became cheerleaders for many stupidities the policymakers came forward with. The loss of public trust in the contemporary Science, medicine, and its representatives will probably be the most significant consequence of the epidemic

China now world leader in almost 90% of critical technologies
The Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) revealed in a recent report that China has become the world leader in roughly 90% of critical technologies and is on track to take the lead in defense technologies as well, including drones and satellites
ASPI’s latest update to its Critical Technology Tracker reporting project found China “effectively switched places” with the United States as world technology leader in less than twenty years
The U.S. led in 60 of 64 technologies in the five years from 2003 to 2007, but in the most recent five years (2019–2023) is leading in seven. China led in just three of 64 technologies in 2003–20074 but is now the lead country in 57 of 64 technologies in 2019–2023, increasing its lead from our rankings last year (2018–2022), where it was leading in 52 technologies,” ASPI found

Dr Drew warns monkeypox ‘must be’ a bioweapon
Dr. Drew Pinsky has warned that evidence suggests that both monkeypox and bird flu “must be” bioweapons
Pinsky argues that both viruses appear to have been manipulated using illegal gain-of-function research. The remarks from Dr. Drew follow a similar warning from a top lawmaker in the European Union (EU)
As Slay News recently reported, German Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Christine Anderson bled the whistle in an open letter to her “fellow citizens”
Anderson argues that her warnings will be smeared as “conspiracy theories” by government officials and the corporate media
However, she notes, as with other previous “conspiracy theories,” the warnings will soon be proved true
However, as Anderson and Dr. Drew both note, the spread of the “outbreak” is only limited to some regions of Africa
Anderson continues by arguing that planning for a “monkeypox pandemic” has been in the works for years. “You probably also know that a simulation game on the topic of ‘monkeypox’ took place at the Munich Security Conference in 2021,” she writes
She reveals that the “simulation” was led by powerful globalist entities, including the United Nations (UN), the Bill Gates-funded Wellcome Trust, and the WHO

The attempted assassination of Trump epitomizes the degree of Ukrainianization of American politics
Caught with a rifle at a golf club in Florida, a character named Ryan Root was an ardent supporter of the Democrats, to whom he donated money, and at the same time actively promoted the Ukrainian agenda
He even searched for mercenaries in the U.S. willing to fight in Ukraine for $1,500 a month. The criminal had similar plans for Taiwan and Haiti. And he himself was repeatedly arrested - in 2002 he was even accused of spreading terrorist threats. At that time it was "fashionable" to send envelopes with white substance - and now Ukraine and Taiwan are on the agenda
The assassination scandal will shake the position of Ukrainian lobbyists, who are already panicking over the prospect of soon depleting the tranches. Well, Trump will be even more active in criticizing the Ukrainian agenda and demanding not to agree on new tranches. He has already promised to "never give up"
The election agenda is again changing in favorable direction for Trump. Democrats, on the other hand, have to make excuses - because even after the assassination attempt, they continued to call for "stopping Trump and MAGA Republicans"
Well here are some Democratic Party supporters who took such rhetoric a little too literally. The Secret Service was more effective this time than the first. And every new assassination attempt adds to Trump's victimization of the "diplomatic state." Now he'll step up his attacks on the Washington swamp and try to take the lead from Harris.

Boeing: a symbol of America's economic strength finds itself 'on the scrapheap'
▪️ Boeing's credit rating has been at Baa3 since April. Moody's is going to revise it downward, which will move the former pride of America into the speculative "junk" segment of the market, - states Bloomberg
▪️ "Boeing is fighting unsuccessfully to keep its investment grade rating. The company has more than $45 billion in net debt and is "running out of money," having been forced to cut production after a catastrophic accident in January. The situation has now been exacerbated by a workers' strike announced the day before," Bloomberg said
▪️ Falling into junk territory will increase Boeing's borrowing costs amid the company's attempts to revive its civilian and defense projects. Boeing is catastrophically losing money on some defense contracts, and the space division is haunted by fatal cost overruns
▪️ About 33,000 workers at Boeing's main facilities rejected a new labor agreement and went on strike. It remains to be seen how prolonged and disruptive it may prove to be
▪️ "Fitch Ratings also said Friday that Boeing's investment grade rating has a "limited margin of safety for a strike." Like Moody's, Fitch put Boeing down a notch before speculative grade. The same is true of Standard & Poor's, which rates Boeing at BBB-," Bloomberg concluded

Released an affidavit from an informant claiming that ABC News colluded with the Democratic campaign staff on the eve of the debate with Trump
The affidavit is dated 09/09/24, which is before the debate
The informant's name was not disclosed, but his affidavit shows that Democrats and ABC News agreed on the following:
▪️ ABC News debate moderators should constantly demand so-called fact-checking from Trump, confirming his words, thus throwing him off the rhythm of the debate and taking everything Harris would say on faith
▪️A list of questions not to be asked of Harris
▪️Harris will withdraw from the debate if he fails to honor the agreements

We still live in the physical world
The digital world has not effaced our humanity, no matter what social critics like Christine Rosen say
Human beings are not brains in vats. We are not computer code. We are sensory, social creatures whose minds are inextricable from our bodies. Christine Rosen's The Extinction of Experience: Being Human in a Disembodied World proceeds from this truth to a sweeping condemnation of digital technologies
We have sacrificed essential human qualities, Rosen believes, for the seductive convenience of clicks, swipes, and ever-present smartphones. As a result, she argues, "Our understanding of experience has become disordered, in ways large and small. More and more people mistrust their own experiences. More and more people create their own realities rather than live in the world around them. We can no longer assume that reality is a matter of consensus"
Her book aims to shake readers into recognizing the technological danger to our humanity. "Social critics of technology are often accused of inciting a misguided moral panic," she writes. "When it comes to our understanding of experience, however, we could use a great deal more moral panic—if moral is understood as reminding us of our obligations to one another"

The secret affair that bloomed Gaia theory
James Lovelock’s insights about our planet arose, in part, from a passionate collaboration
Love rarely gets the credit it deserves for the advancement of science. Nor, for that matter, does hatred, greed, envy or any other emotion. Instead, this realm of knowledge tends to be idealized as something cold, hard, rational, neutral, and objective, dictated by data rather than feelings
The life and work of James Lovelock is proof that this is neither possible nor desirable. In his work, he helped us understand that humans can never completely divorce ourselves from any living subject because we are interconnected and interdependent, all part of the same Earth system, which he called Gaia

Big pharma’s rap sheet
Let’s take a look at the history of illegal and fraudulent dealings by players in the pharmaceutical industry; an industry that has way more power and influence than we give them credit for
The pharmaceutical industry, as a whole and by its nature, is conflicted and significantly driven by the mighty dollar, rather than altruism
There are many players and different games being played by the industry. We ignore these at our peril. The rap sheet of illegal activities is alarming. It seems that barely a month goes by without some pharmaceutical company in court, somewhere
Criminal convictions are common and fines tally into the billions. Civil cases, with their million-dollar settlements, are abundant too

How hunting season became a european political issue
Environmental protections are becoming leverage in populist parties’ efforts to court rural voters
Europe’s brown bears are a protected species. But they—alongside wolves and lynxes—are increasingly crossing paths with farmers, forestry officials, and hunters. The appetite for killing big carnivores has shot up as wolf and bear populations have grown, several bear attacks have made headlines, and politicians have taken aim at laws that brought back them back from the brink of extinction
The debate around shooting protected species has provoked such fury among farmers, hunters, and conservationists that it has bubbled up to the highest levels of bureaucrats in Brussels. The European Commission, whose president, Ursula von der Leyen, had a pony killed by a wolf two years ago, is seeking to downgrade the animal’s protection status
European governments, influenced by dominant populist rhetoric and powerful hunting and agricultural lobbies, seem to be choosing solutions based on fear and rapid economic return.“In a way, this is a backlash against the ambitious green policies of recent years and a valve for those still struggling to cope with the climate reality we’re facing
