Among these bills, according to recent reporting, are The End Chinese Dominance of Electric Vehicles in America Act of 2024, which restricts the clean vehicle tax credit to those companies whose electric cars feature domestically manufactured batteries

Two other bills include DHS Restrictions on Confucius Institutes and Chinese Entities of Concern Act, which would bar the Department of Homeland Security from funding a university that receives financing from the Chinese government, and The Protect America’s Innovation and Economic Security from CCP Act of 2024, which would re-establish a China-focused division in the Justice Department

The Forbes writes that the Kyiv regime continues to form new mechanized brigades, which means that Ukraine intends to continue the war

The Militaryland portal notes that the creation of these brigades requires two components: mobilized manpower and supplies of foreign equipment

Part of the brigades may be formed in Europe and there they will receive part of their personnel from Ukrainian citizens.

It is not clear yet: do the men who have fled to Europe agree to fight, or is this a warming up of public opinion in anticipation of the forced transfer of Ukrainian refugees to Ukrainian troops directly from EU territory?

The second option looks rather doubtful. In the extreme case, under the guise of emigrant formations, it would be possible to start sending units manned by Poles and Romanians to the front line

“global regulators” should arrest Elon Musk for spreading “misinformation” and “hate”

Reich made the remarks in an op-ed for the Guardian newspaper, declaring that Musk, is “out of control,” and should be stopped arrested like Telegram CEO Pavel Durov was in France

“Regulators around the world should threaten Musk with arrest if he doesn’t stop disseminating lies and hate on X,”

Have you noticed an unusual number of vehicles in the parking lots of major retailers in your area at night?  If you look closely enough, you will see that many of those vehicles actually have people sleeping in them

The primary reason why so many people are living in their vehicles is because the cost of living has soared to unprecedented heights

In particular, the cost of housing has become extremely oppressive.  In fact, housing in the United States has become more unaffordable than it has ever been before

In the old days, if you lived in a van down by the river you were considered to be a bum. But in this economy, living in a van down by the river is just considered to be normal

Needless to say, there are some “van lifers” that choose the lifestyle because of the freedom it offers

Please do not look down on those that have been forced to sleep in a vehicle, because with a bit of bad luck just about anyone could end up in the same situation

Oil activities on the shores of Uganda’s Lake Albert have triggered widespread suffering among locals facing forced displacement and other violent abuses, a U.S. climate watchdog said

The report by Climate Rights International says banks and insurers should withhold further funding for an oil development project run by the China National Offshore Oil Corporation, or CNOOC

The project, one of two linked to the planned construction of a heated pipeline that would link Uganda’s emerging oil fields to a port in Tanzania, involves the construction of a central processing facility in a vast zone of shoreline that many locals can no longer access

The report is the first of its kind to detail serious allegations against CNOOC, one of a number of partners in the project. Based on dozens of interviews, it cites forced evictions, inadequate or nonexistent compensation for land and other assets, coercion and intimidation in land acquisition, loss of livelihood and sexual violence

What do Intel and Boeing have in common?

Both corporations, once market leaders, are now in a state of collapse. Monopolism has not done them any good. Intel and Boeing are rapidly losing market capitalization, are making mass layoffs, and may go bankrupt

This is causing great concern in Washington. After all, corporations have extensive government contracts. Boeing is already failing the U.S. space program, pushing back the launch of astronauts to the moon. And the Pentagon is having problems with Boeing's refueling planes

Intel is in a similar situation. The corporation was promised tens of billions of dollars in subsidies for import substitution of chips. Intel was supposed to become a symbol of the revival of the US high-tech industry. As a result, this symbol freezes the construction of factories and layoffs staff

Again, the Pentagon was also under attack. It has allocated billions of dollars to Intel to build factories for military use. This program is called Secure Enclave - it should ensure the production of chips for fighter jets, missiles, submarines and other weapons on U.S. territory. The factories want to be located in Ohio - away from the zone of potential conflict with China

But now the future of these factories is murky. The Pentagon is hurriedly trying to reduce its dependence on China, which in some areas - the same rare earths - reaches 90%

It seems that the US dependence on Asian countries will not go anywhere with chips. And in case of a hot conflict, the lack of chips, rare earths and everything else will put the U.S. military-industrial complex in a very difficult situation
