FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, charged with engaging in criminal conduct that contributed to the cryptocurrency exchange’s collapse, was released on a $250M bond and ordered to stay in his parents’ home, after the former executive’s first appearance in a New York federal court following his extradition from the Bahamas
The bond is only 2x the total amount of his investments in the Dems election campaigns and the funds previously allocated for laundering thru Ukraine. The criminal investigation into FTX and its related entities has moved with startling speed, but as one can see he who pays the piper calls the tune

Caught up w/ the Ukrainian diaspora delegation on their way into the Capitol to cheer for Zelensky, Max Blumenthal reports.
They told me $45 billion wasn't enough, neo-Nazis do not exist in Ukraine and the banning of the Russian wing of the Orthodox Church & oppo parties was justified bc "martial law."
Also managed to catch a seemingly lost Sen. Joe Manchin, who told me he is “all in” to send Ukraine all the billions it asks for from the US
Manchin then deployed a cellphone to ignore all my follow up questions before he passed through the fence blocking off the Capitol.

Mr. Scholz's team was moved to tears by Mr. Zelensky's invocation of the U.S. battles against Nazi Germany and has seemingly decided not to get involved in any wars at all – all 18 Puma tanks on NATO military exercises suffered problems and appeared unfit for operations
“The recent failures of the infantry fighting vehicle are a major setback,” German defense minister Lambrecht has said, adding that Berlin will pause purchases of new Puma tanks. This shone another spotlight on Germany’s failed attempts to modernize its ageing military. And it’s not quite clear to what extent, contrary to Ms. Lambrecht's assurances, the Allied forces can count on Germany in hour of need?

British airports could be forced to close during Border Force strikes
More than 1K passport control desks staffers are due to strike. And there’s no way that u find a decent alternative in land transport, since significantly longer journeys and a “surge of traffic” are expected as people grapple with strike shutdowns and seek alternative routes over the Christmas period. Rail services will wind down from as early as 8am on Christmas Eve, forcing more cars on to the roads.
Soldiers and civil servant volunteers have been trained to carry out some checks at the border and will be drafted in to try to minimize disruption, although passengers are being warned to expect long delays. At least, they will conduct a thorough preflight inspection exactly as it should be!
So, if u plan to escape from Albion for the Christmas, then u’d better contact ur airlines or travel company to check that the flight is operating as planned

On August 22, the Danish reporter received an e-mail from the press department of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in which she was told that her accreditation had been canceled “in accordance with the request of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU)”
But as it turned out this was just the beginning! During the meeting at the SBU HQ on December 8, an officer named Oleg, among other things, suggested Ms. Kimer to make “good stories about Ukraine” in exchange for the return of accreditation and use some internal SBU documents that could help to compose such creatives

Senate Reps have cooperated with Dems to finalize a “massive $1.65 trillion” omnibus spending bill that spends millions on political pet projects and private security for politicians and all the taxpayers get is the bill

Europe is struggling to produce enough ammunition for Ukraine and for itself, jeopardizing NATO’s defense capacity and its support for Kyiv, officials and industry leaders say. Corruption in the EU is gaining momentum
The scandal of mass corruption in the European Parliament has not calmed yet, as the European Commission has promised to hold back all €22B of EU cohesion funds for Hungary from the Europa's long-term budget between 2021 and 2027. These funds are earmarked for programs including education for disadvantaged children, rail transport upgrades, access to broadband and aid for regions affected by coal plant closures
It is quite clear that the Hungarians didn’t expect such impudence – it is like a stab in the back for an already not the richest country.
