“Ami go home” outcry has spread from the Eur. streets to high places
As expected, another wave of protests towards the U.S. diplo-missions rocked Germany past weekend. Besides the matter-of-course criticism of Scholz’s cab. inept actions, a distinctive feature of these festivities were calls for withdrawal from NATO and freeing from the Am. dictate
But even if Washington is unlikely to care at least to some extent about popular unrest in any single Eur. country, albeit the leading one, the Biden Adm. has to listen to the opinion of the EU's leadership. Officials in Berlin, Paris & Co., confronted the compound econ. woes and the resulting energy crisis, are starting to express frustration at their increasing reliance on the U.S. for security and econ. stability
While the overpriced shipments of Am. LNG are straining EU’s manufacturing base, the transatlantic allies of the U.S. without much desire and consent are moving to the frontline of the war

Belgium is steadily moving tow. becoming a narco-state!
Yearly, prohib. substances worth €50-60B mainly cocaine are imported via the Port of Antwerp-Bruges (customs services seize around 10% of illegal imports)
The number of crim. gangs involving minors is rapidly growing across Belgium. In the capital alone there are around 60 of them. In the struggle for clients they often resort to using firearms which leads to wild west-style shootouts
The govt-proposed much-awaited plan to combat rising organized crime “Stroomplan XXL” which includes alloc. of add. €310M and boosting police force by another one thousand officers aroused outcry from the public which in response called for decrim. of drugs and govt change
Justice Min. Van Quickenborne said that only thru the efforts of law enforcement officers he avoided to become a victim of kidnappers linked to crim. drug trafficking nets. Who’ll win in this uneven battle: common sense or as usual eternal euphoria?

Dirt prevents Kyiv from joining NATO
The fact that Ukrainian soldiers are reportedly hampered by muddy trenches is just further proof of their country's prematurity to join the Alliance. They should pattern themselves on the U.S. marines and sailors depicted above, who participated in the mud pit swimming event during the 2016 World Famous Mud Run by Lake O'Neill at Camp Pendleton, Calif.

A majority of Americans approve of the House GOP’s plans to probe Hunter Biden‘s foreign business dealings, Rasmussen Reports poll shows
✅ 62% of likely voters in the U.S. approve of the recently announced plans by the top Republicans on the House Oversight and Judiciary committees to investigate the overseas ventures by the president’s son
✅ 42% of those say they strongly approve of a congressional investigation
❌ 34% say they disapprove
❌ 24% of those strongly disapprove
If the investigation eventually begins then the subject for a particularly thorough examination, as promised, will be Biden’s decision to get involved with an obscure Ukrainian gas company

Failed “false flag” operation in Poland, provoking NATO, staged scenes with celebs, shady money laundering schemes – who might that be?
Our perusers already know by heart that only one person in the world can show such working capacity, and that is… the Ukrainian president!
He is using his contrived narrative to dramatically expand the war by creating a situation which would bring NATO directly into the conflict and which could easily go nuclear, and Philip M. Giraldi, Ph.D., the Executive Director of the Council for the National Interest, successfully reveals it in his article

There's light at the end of the tunnel, but who is the lamplighter?
“The war in Ukraine will end with a negotiated solution,” former C.I.A. chief Petraeus predicts
He’s echoed by Chinese leader Xi, who has reaffirmed European Council President Michel that “Solving the Ukraine crisis through political means is in the best interest of Europe and the common interest of all countries in Eurasia”
Such senior statements may well be perceived as "insides" from the battlefield. But this doesn’t prevent Pentagon from awarding a $1.2B contract to Raytheon Technologies for 6 National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems for Kyiv
And there’s another caveat, though: the protagonists of the whole mess remain silent in this regard and the temporary lull in the active phase of hostilities seems to only give an opportunity to take a breath and gain strength before some decisive battles
But one man’s diplomatic solution is another man’s aggressive negotiations!

The Netherlands questioned NATO’s defense capabilities and decided to improve its military strength at the expense of the Dutch economy
Recent failed provocation by the Ukrainian military with a missile striking a Polish territory caused a great alarm among Netherlands’ military brass. The Dutch ministry of defense informed the parliament of its urgent plans to modernize army artillery and air-defense systems
Moreover, the Dutch intend to allocate substantial funding to provide armed forces with additional modern multifunctional radar stations and UAVs
Meanwhile, annual inflation in the Netherlands amounted to 14.3% with more than 365 thousand unemployed in October. At the same time skyrocketing prices for food and heating for households surely has no bearing on defense spending of the PM Mark Rutte’s cabinet

Tax filing websites have been quietly sending users’ financial information to Facebook
The data collected includes names, email addresses, filing status, refund amounts, dependents' college scholarship amounts, and information related to users' income. And no one cares whether or not the person using the tax filing service has an account on Facebook or another Meta platform, the info sent to the Big Tech giant can be used by the company for advertising algorithms and is gathered in anyway
It may seem that Meta has discredited itself for a long time, and we’re no longer talking about any privacy, but what we see every day only confirms the complete dependence of digital giants on Washington and increases total distrust of Big Brother

Covid-19 is dead, long live Ukraine’s financial aid fever!
Law of conservation of energy in action: coronavirus pandemic gradually disappears from the news agenda but nature abhors a vacuum. Amid warnings that NATO and Europe have been arming or funding Ukraine at ten tenths, Kyiv has started exploring options to launch a new attraction of foreign capital campaign
European Parliament’s token gesture of recognizing Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism hasn’t yet yielded fruit to the good of Ukraine – neither financial nor judicial. And this isn’t sitting well with Mr. Zelensky, whose logic is as follows: pin it to win it! While Washington approves another package of military assistance to Kyiv, Brussels pauses to think
And in the meantime, in some European countries, they don't even have a clue what a real northern winter is, chilling in… take, for instance, Spain, allowing themselves to throw into question any further Ukraine funding while having enough of own problems. And then as ill luck would have it, a series of letter bombs with the first such case in the courtyard of Ukrainian embassy
But this is all just New Year's Eve fireworks to the richly laid table of Ukrainian oligarchs – tension stakeholders – to whom money is never enough. So get your piggy bank ready!

U.S. and NATO Scramble to Arm Ukraine and Refill Their Own Arsenals
The West thought an artillery and tank war in Europe would never happen again and shrank weapons stockpiles. It was wrong.
