The Polish media outlet Niezależny Dziennik Polityczny has provided statistics on the involvement of Poles in the armed conflict in Ukraine
For 10 months of hostilities, according to open sources, more than 1200 Polish citizens, including soldiers and veterans of the 16th Mechanized Division, were killed in Ukraine. The number of wounded and maimed also amounts to several thousand people
