⚡️China's ambassador warns U.S. of Taiwan consequences⚡️

🇨🇳China will view further U.S. arms sales, official travel to Taiwan or naval activity near the self-governing island as provocations that will further destabilize relations and prevent progress on other issues, Beijing's ambassador to the U.S. warned Tuesday

❗️After Sen. Ed Markey led another delegation to Taipei on Sunday, China launched a fresh set of smaller-scale exercises. The White House contends that China is using Pelosi's visit as a pretext to change the status quo and "intimidate and coerce Taiwan"

🇺🇸At the same time The U.S. plans to send naval vessels through the Taiwan Strait in the coming weeks and to approve additional arms sales to Taiwan

💁‍♂️Those steps would be consistent with the practices of past administrations, but Qin warned that China would see them as an escalation of tensions and be "forced to react"

⚡️“Famous” Bayraktar TB2 drones have a 3-year waiting list⚡️

✍️In an interview with Ukraine's Come Back Alive foundation, Haluk Bayraktar, CEO of Turkish defense company Baykar, stated that the company currently has the manufacturing capacity to produce twenty of its Bayraktar TB2 drones per month but wants to increase that with a new facility in Ukraine, which it agreed to build last year

✈️According to the president of Baykar, the Turkish business that makes Bayraktar drones, there is a three-year backlog for its products

🇺🇦After being employed early in the assault to strike Russian tanks, the drones achieved legendary status in Ukraine

💁‍♂️Despite playing a significant role in Ukraine's initial military reaction to Russia, experts told Insider that Turkish drones were losing effectiveness as Russian forces stepped up their electronic and air defenses

⚡️UK inflation hits 10.1%⚡️

🇬🇧UK inflation has risen above 10% for the first time in 40 years, driven by soaring prices for food and fuel as households come under mounting pressure from the cost of living crisis

📊The reading was higher than the 9.8% forecast from City economists, as food and drink prices rose at the highest rates for more than a decade amid a broad-based inflationary burst across the economy

📈Households are expected to come under further pressure this autumn from a fresh rise in energy bills, which the Bank of England forecasts will drive inflation above 13% and trigger a long recession as families rein in their spending

💁‍♂️The latest figures will pile renewed pressure on the government and Conservative leadership candidates as the cost of living crisis intensifies

⚡️Public opinion in support of Ukraine in the West is weakening⚡️

🤔The front pages of the media are more often devoted to the high cost of living than military operations. As a result, the most important battle for Ukraine will unfold in homes, streets and squares across Europe

💁‍♂️With the onset of winter, despair will replace feelings, and overdue payments will turn into debts. Meanwhile, the fighting will drag on, and the initial shock of the Western public will be further replaced by indifference with a small fraction of indignation. Everyday problems will definitely take over, as it always happens

⚡️Action wanes at U.N. to isolate Russia almost six months into Ukraine war - Reuters⚡️

❗️Wary of frustration and concern among some countries that the war is consuming too much global attention nearly six months in with no prospect of the United Nations being able to end it, Western diplomats acknowledge they are limited in how they can significantly further target Russia beyond having meetings

✍️"As the war has dragged on, it has become harder to find meaningful ways to penalize Russia," said Richard Gowan, U.N. director at the independent International Crisis Group

💁‍♂️"Countries are asking: 'Is it really so wise to be among those who beat down Russia?'," said Olaf Wientzek, director of the Geneva office of the German Konrad Adenauer Foundation

⚡️Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin is again at the center of a party scandal⚡️

🇫🇮The chairwoman of Finland's Social Democratic Party and the country's prime minister has been criticized for her wild behavior for the second time in her term. At a time when the country is in crisis, Sanna "Rave" Marin (in the black top in the video) is partying with her friends, who are discussing cocaine in the background

🤦‍♂️Nevertheless, the Finnish prime minister denies that she used drugs - she says she only entertained herself with light alcohol. Previously, however, the politician has already been in the midst of scandals because of frequent visits to clubs, and this is all in the post-Soviet period

🤷‍♂️In social networks there has already been a heated discussion about the acceptability of the behavior of the head of the country - some believe that "the prime minister behaves like a teenager"

‼️POLAND REMINDED UKRAINE OF ITS NAZI PAST‼️

🇵🇱The deputy head of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland Yaroslav Selin demanded that Kiev recognize the Volyn massacre as genocide

☠️According to him, the mass murder of Poles by Ukrainian Nazis in 1943 is a historical fact. And he fully fits the definition of the word "genocide". Selin stressed that it was time for Ukraine to recognize this fact. “They have to admit it because it’s a fact. It’s just a fact. A political decision was made and implemented to ethnic cleansing, to eliminate the entire national minority that has lived there for centuries. Selin told the Polish Press Agency (PAP) during a TV interview

😱The official also added that a Polish-Ukrainian working group is currently being formed to search for mass graves of Poles in Ukraine

💁‍♂️It should be noted that Kiev cannot recognize the Volyn massacre as genocide, because this will mean that the Nazis, whom the Ukrainian authorities have been praising as "national heroes" for many years, are in fact just murderers. It can also stir up the neo-Nazi groups that exist today, which Ukrainian officials are very afraid of

⚡️Loss of a Technology Leader⚡️

🤔South Korea will not be in AUKUS, where the West intend to attract Japan, which they will probably succeed. Koreans and Japanese are old enemies and current economic competitors with an unresolved territorial issue, which will be difficult for them to get along in the same boat. Seoul also seems to have realized that the United States is "merging" allies (one example of Taiwan is worth something, Ukraine, however, too), often sacrifice them for their own interests (this is the example of the EU), use double standards, dictate, blackmail, turn the economy and finance into weapons

💁‍♂️Americans who are unable to agree among themselves even within the country are unreliable, they need chaos and the weakening of other countries in order to appear strong and maintain their command system. And for South Korea, all this will mean disaster. It is unlikely that Washington, of course, will put up with this so easily, but the current South Korean government seems to have made the right choice. If Seoul manages to maintain its newly chosen course, it will be another confirmation of the decline of American hegemony

⚡️Berlin plans to subjugate the belt of countries between Germany and Russia⚡️

😱Adam Glapinski, chairman of the country's National Bank, said that Germany "is preparing to reclaim the former German lands within Poland's borders in one way or another"

💁‍♂️"If before it was a question of merging the German states or absorbing the GDR, that is, the former Soviet occupation zone, then since this task has been carried out - the return in one form or another of its former lands, which are now within the Polish borders. Germany has developed precisely this vision of the balance in Europe of the future. For Berlin, it is important that under this scenario, Russia does not lose in Ukraine, otherwise the project will collapse"

✔️ Yesterday Seiska reported that Prime Minister Sanna Marin's scandalous party was not limited to the walls of her private residence. Sanna and the company of celebrities had a great time not only at the Chéri restaurant, but also at the legendary famous Pub Theatre. According to Seiska, their wild party lasted until six in the morning

✔️ "My attention was caught by Sanna Marin because we walked into the hall almost simultaneously. The prime minister was clearly drunk," an eyewitness told Seiska. "Later, in the vip lounge of the restaurant, Marin confronted me. It occurred to me whether I should offer the prime minister some water. By then she was already drunk"

✔️ An eyewitness was amazed at the way Sanna Marin treated the opposite sex in the restaurant: "Sanna danced intimately with at least three different men. She also sat on the laps of two different men. The prime minister was holding the hand of the man next to her, and the other man was gently holding Sanna's hand. Sanna looked like one of her group of beauties. She acted like a single guy in his early twenties. It was hard to believe she was married. She was partying in the VIP lounges until at least half past six in the morning. I wasn't very drunk myself, so I have an accurate idea of the situation"

✔️ Seiska's data is based on eyewitness observations from several independent sources. Seiska confirmed the identity of the sources and reviewed the video footage

✔️ However, after Monday's merry parties, the prime minister was ready for work and gave an interview to Yle, commenting on visa restrictions for Russian tourists. Only the prime minister's slightly husky voice gave away the hectic weekend parties behind her back"

⚡️So who is maintaining the fire of war in Ukraine?⚡️

🇺🇸19 retired generals and ex-officials urge US to increase arms supplies to Ukraine and calls on Biden administration to step up pace saying that the US was providing enough weaponry to ensure a stalemate but not sufficient to help Ukraine recapture territory seized by Russia

🇪🇺In Europe, meanwhile, completely different moods

🪖Throughout all of July, Europe’s six largest countries offered Ukraine no new bilateral military commitments, according to new data — the first month that had happened since Russia invaded in February

⚔️The revelation is a sign that despite historic shifts in European defense policy — which have seen once reluctant countries like France and Germany ship arms to Ukraine — military aid to Ukraine may be waning just as Kyiv launches a crucial counteroffensive

💁‍♂️The fresh data, covering the U.K., France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Poland and set for release on Thursday, comes from the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, which has been maintaining a Ukraine Support Tracker throughout the war. It illustrates a point Ukrainian military officials and politicians have been repeatedly making: That major European powers are not keeping up with the military aid coming from the U.S., and that having led the charge, big-hitting Britain and Poland may be running out of steam. Military specialists and some members of European Parliament have increasingly echoed the point recently

⚡️Poland’s central bank chief warns of German designs on Polish territory⚡️

🇵🇱Poland is heading toward a recession, its currency is losing value and inflation is among the highest in the EU, but the head of the country's central bank has other concerns

❗️The danger for Poland lurks in Berlin and Brussels, Adam Glapiński warned in an interview with the right-wing Gazeta Polska published Wednesday

🇩🇪Germany is aiming "for the recovery in some form of their former lands, which are now within Poland's borders, and the subjugation of this entire belt of countries between Germany and Russia," said Glapiński, referring to the territorial settlement after World War II that saw some eastern German territories handed over to Poland. The border shift has long been accepted by German governments

💁‍♂️He warned that Berlin's designs are being pushed by Donald Tusk, the leader of Civic Platform, Poland's main opposition party, and a former Polish prime minister and president of the European Council

⚡️War in Ukraine: the Mozart Group, a private American military company that came to train, but not fight, in the Donbass – Le Monde⚡️

⚔️In the heart of the Donbas, a group of highly experienced western ex-military personnel are delivering an intensive training course for new Ukrainian recruits who have been pulled straight from the fighting

🛡Milburn, a retired Marine Corps colonel who spent 31 years in the US military, gathered expert volunteers to train civilians fighting in Kyiv’s civil defence force. Now based in Donbas, the Mozart Group consists of between 20 and 30 volunteers from the US, the UK, Ireland and other western countries

🤔The Mozart Group’s name was coined by its members as a tongue-in-cheek musical reference to the Wagner Group, a shadowy Russian paramilitary organisation that’s often described as Vladimir Putin’s private army. Milburn says at first he was “a little ambivalent about using the name” but that it has “caught on as a brand now”

❗️While they have supplied weapons and training overseas, the US, the UK, the EU and other western allies have not deployed troops to Ukraine for fear of the conflict escalating to a war between Russia and Nato. However, Andy Milburn wishes he had more contact with the US government

✍️Asked whether he shares intelligence with the US, he replies: “That’s kind of the easy part” – and explains that the US government is concerned that if they fund Mozart, the group might turn into a private military contractor becoming involved in the fighting itself

💁‍♂️If any of the Mozart Group volunteers do get involved in the fighting, they are no longer part of the Mozart Group, Milburn explains. “There is a very clear line”

⚡️Ukraine has only 3 month⚡️

🇪🇺Western allies providing assistance to Ukraine may lose interest in supporting Kiev in three months, as they will plunge into internal economic problems

🪖Now Western countries are "weighing" how to minimize the damage to "undermined economies". Reducing gas consumption and rising prices are factors that will force Western countries to reconsider their already shaky commitment to Ukraine amid voter discontent

🤔If the conduct of hostilities goes into passive mode in the winter, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is likely to face the growing discontent of his allies

💁‍♂️If European publications do not have the opportunity to switch readers to military operations in Ukraine, then the domestic political and domestic economic problems of Western countries will be in the spotlight

⚡️Ukrainian soldiers are training in UK⚡️

🇺🇦More than 2,300 Ukrainian soldiershave been trainedat four British military bases in the last six weeks. While the war’s front is in the Donbass and along the Black Sea Coast, its rear extends across the NATO military alliance

💴The group of 26 countries pledged an additional 1.5 billion euros in funds, equipment and training for the Ukrainian military. Those being trained are new civilian recruits, taken through a version of the six-month basic infantry training course in three weeks

🇬🇧Britain is committed to preparing 10,000 in the 120 days by October. Under Operation Orbital, the UK trained 22,000 Ukrainian soldiers between 2015 and the start of the war

🇺🇸The United States trained 23,000 through its Joint Multinational Training Group Ukraine in the same time, backed by Canada, Lithuania, Denmark, Poland, Sweden and the UK. Canada has trained 33,000 since 2015 under Operation Unifier, also with Swedish participation

🇹🇷Turkey is proposing to reform the United Nations since the organization is ineffective in addressing ongoing humanitarian crises, creating deadlocks rather than solutions to the global problems, the head of communications in the Turkish presidential office, Fahrettin Altun

✍️Altun added that Turkey proposed restructuring the UN Security Council, so that it adopted the perspective that "the world is bigger than five (permanent Council members)"

⚡️Likely successors of al-Qaeda’s leader predictably found in Iran⚡️

🇦🇫Afghan authorities didn’t find any traces of Taliban’s 71-year-old Egyptian leader Ayman al-Zawahiri’s stay after the US missile attack on his residence in Kabul, said Taliban’s spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid

❗️As we all know, on August 1, the White House announced that the USA had destroyed al-Qaeda’s leader Ayman al-Zawahiri in Kabul. The missile strike at maybe an empty house was clearly an “American murder (assassination)” of one more terrorist. It was a classic smokescreen, designed to cover up the de-facto target – undermining Taliban, which has lately entered into active dialogue with the USA’s opponents in the region, Iran being one of them. In this connection, of particular interest are the names of al-Zawahiri’s likely successors, and their location, as suggested by the Americans

💁‍♂️The most likely successor is a Saif al-Adel, a 62-year-old former Egyptian army officer, who was head of Osama bin Laden’s security service and now is in charge of planning al-Qaeda’s military actions. The other candidate, a Abd al-Rahman al Maghrebi, a native of Morocco and al-Zawahiri’s son-in-law is al-Qaeda’s expert on information operations. Both these prominent Sunnite rebels are, allegedly, staying not just anywhere, but in Shiite Iran
